बांग्लादेश में कट्टरपंथियों के आतंक की एक और घटना सामने आई है। बताया जा रहा है कि एक हिंदू युवक को भीड़ ने घेरकर बेरहमी से पीटा। घटना के बाद इलाके में तनाव फैल गया। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, युवक पर अचानक हमला किया गया और काफी देर तक मारपीट होती रही। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और युवक को गंभीर हालत में अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है और कुछ लोगों से पूछताछ की जा रही है। घटना के बाद अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय में डर का माहौल है। प्रशासन ने शांति बनाए रखने की अपील की है।

जम्मू-कश्मीर के किश्तवाड़ जिले में सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट के कारण भीषण आग लगने से इलाके में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। बताया जा रहा है कि एक मकान में अचानक गैस सिलेंडर फट गया, जिसके बाद आग ने विकराल रूप ले लिया। आग की चपेट में आसपास के कई घर आ गए। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही दमकल विभाग की कई गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंचीं और घंटों की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया। हादसे में भारी नुकसान की आशंका जताई जा रही है। प्रशासन ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

अफगानिस्तान में लगातार हो रही तेज बारिश के कारण कई इलाकों में अचानक भीषण बाढ़ आ गई। इस प्राकृतिक आपदा में अब तक 17 लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हुई है, जबकि कई अन्य घायल बताए जा रहे हैं। बाढ़ के तेज बहाव में घर, वाहन और मवेशी बह गए। कई गांवों का संपर्क मुख्य मार्गों से कट गया है। स्थानीय प्रशासन और राहत एजेंसियां बचाव कार्य में जुटी हुई हैं। प्रभावित इलाकों में खाद्य सामग्री और दवाइयों की भारी कमी बताई जा रही है। मौसम विभाग ने आने वाले दिनों में और बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की है, जिससे हालात और बिगड़ने की आशंका है।
