कौनजी पहाड़ी गांव में घर से इलाज: expired दवाएं जब्त, सख्त कार्रवाई की चेतावनी

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Based on a complaint that a mother and son belonging to the same family were illegally providing medical treatment from their house in Kaunji hill village of Kodaikanal, officials conducted an inspection and seized a large number of expired medicines and tablets. The District Health and Rural Welfare Department carried out the sudden action. Kaunji is one of the hill villages located in the Kodaikanal region of Dindigul district, Tamilnadu. Since there is no hospital or primary health centre in this hill village, residents usually have to travel around 10 kilometres to Mannavanur to receive medical treatment. Officials of the District Health and Rural Welfare Department received a complaint that Prince, who works at a xerox shop in the village, along with his mother Baby, had been providing medical treatment to patients from their house. Based on this complaint, a team of doctors led by Joint Director Bharathi conducted a surprise inspection at Prince’s house in Kaunji village. During the inspection, expired medicines and government-supplied tablets were found and seized. Officials warned that strict action will be taken if they are found again treating patients or distributing medicines in the coming days. They also stated that the seized medicines will be sent to a laboratory for testing, and further action will be taken against both the mother and son based on the results, according to the District Health and Rural Welfare Department.
