हैदराबाद की बacha’s फर्नीचर शोरूम में भीषण आग, रेस्क्यू जारी

Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at Bacha’s Furniture shop located on Cheerap Gali Line in Nampally on Saturday afternoon. The fire reportedly started around 12:30 PM on the ground floor of a four-storey building and quickly spread to the upper floors. Flames raged for several hours, creating panic in the densely populated area. Fire and rescue teams rushed to the spot immediately. As many as 25 fire engines were pressed into service to bring the blaze under control. Thick smoke and intense flames made rescue operations extremely challenging. According to preliminary information, more than 40 workers were reportedly present in the cellar area at the time of the incident. Smoke rapidly filled the building soon after the fire broke out. ZEE MEDIA EXCLUSIVE: According to watchman Lala Khan, two children were trapped inside the building. In an attempt to rescue them, two elderly persons and his parents went inside but also got stuck due to heavy smoke and fire. The trapped individuals have been identified as: Imtiaz (35), Hyderabad Bebi (50), Karnataka Usman Khan (55), Karnataka (Husband of Bebi) Praneeth (10) Akhil (7) Sources say that two families were living in the cellar and sub-cellar of Bacha’s Furniture. The cellar was allegedly being used as a godown and furniture manufacturing unit, which was reportedly being run illegally. Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, IPS, reached the spot and supervised the rescue and firefighting operations. He instructed officials to take all necessary measures to control the fire and rescue those trapped. Multiple agencies including HYDRA, NDRF, SDRF, City Police, Fire Services, and Medical teams have been engaged in continuous rescue operations for over 12 hours.
