Indian Army Empowering Women Through Stitching and Tailoring Course
Banihal,
The Indian Army is continuing its efforts to uplift the status of women in rural areas of the Kashmiri community. It has started a Stitching and Tailoring Course for women from the remote areas of Banihal tehsil in Jammu Division. This project is in line with the Indian government's "Skill India" and "Digital India" initiatives. A total of 10 women have been selected for this three-month program, taking into consideration their economic conditions.
