यूजीसी रेगुलेशन 2026 के विरोध में प्रेस क्लब अमेठी ने राष्ट्रपति को भेजा ज्ञापन

Katra Raja Himmat Sing, Uttar Pradesh:अमेठी। देश की अगली पीढ़ी के भविष्य को लेकर चिंता जताते हुए प्रेस क्लब जनपद अमेठी ने विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) द्वारा वर्ष 2026 में जारी किए गए यूजीसी रेगुलेशन 2026 को वापस लेने की मांग की है। इस संबंध में जिलाधिकारी अमेठी के माध्यम से महामहिम राष्ट्रपति को ज्ञापन भेजा गया। प्रेस क्लब पदाधिकारियों का कहना है कि समानता, समावेशन और भेदभाव मुक्त वातावरण सुनिश्चित करने के नाम पर लाया गया यह नया कानून पूरी तरह एक पक्षीय है, जिससे कुछ वर्ग विशेष के छात्रों को लाभ पहुंचाने का प्रयास किया गया है। इससे शिक्षण संस्थानों में असमानता, भेदभाव, असुरक्षा और असंतोष का माहौल बनने की आशंका है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि इस रेगुलेशन से सामान्य वर्ग के छात्रों के साथ घोर अन्याय होने की प्रबल संभावनाएं हैं। प्रेस क्लब ने सवाल उठाया कि क्या अब तक देश की शिक्षण संस्थाओं में समानता और समावेशन का वातावरण नहीं था, जो इस प्रकार के कानून की आवश्यकता पड़ी। प्रेस क्लब अमेठी ने इसे राष्ट्रहित के खिलाफ बताते हुए यूजीसी रेगुलेशन 2026 को “काला कानून” करार दिया और इसके प्रावधानों की कड़ी निंदा की। ज्ञापन के माध्यम से राष्ट्रपति से अनुरोध किया गया है कि भारत सरकार को निर्देशित कर इस कानून को तत्काल वापस लिया जाए। इस मौके पर प्रेस क्लब अमेठी के अध्यक्ष शीतला प्रसाद मिश्र सहित आशीष त्रिपाठी, अभिषेक, अजय पांडेय, आदित्य मिश्र और राजकुमार नौशाद, मौजूद रहे।

बेवर कस्बे के स्कूल में शिक्षक की बेरहमी से पिटाई: छात्र अस्पताल में भर्ती, जांच शुरू

Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh:जिले मैनपुरी के बेवर कस्बे से एक शर्मसार कर देने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जिसने शिक्षा व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। कस्बे के अमर शहीद इंटर कॉलेज में पढ़ने वाले मासूम छात्र को सिर्फ इस बात पर बेरहमी से पीटा गया कि वह शिक्षक द्वारा पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब नहीं दे पाया। आरोप है कि गुस्से में आकर शिक्षक ने छात्र की डंडे से पिटाई की और इसी दौरान उसके सिर पर जोरदार वार कर दिया, जिससे छात्र बेहोश होकर जमीन पर गिर पड़ा। घटना के बाद कक्षा में मौजूद अन्य बच्चे घबरा गए। छात्र के दोस्तों ने तुरंत इसकी सूचना उसके परिजनों को दी। जानकारी मिलते हीपरिजन आनन-फानन में विद्यालय पहुंचे, लेकिन आरोप है कि आरोपी शिक्षक ने अपनी गलती मानने के बजाय परिजनों के साथ गाली-गलौज की और उन्हें विद्यालय परिसर से भगा दिया। इससे परिजनों का आक्रोश और बढ़ गया। घायल छात्र को लेकर परिजन तुरंत अस्पताल पहुंचे, जहां डॉक्टरों की देखरेख में उसे भर्ती कराया गया। कुछ समय बाद छात्र को होश आ गया, जिसके बाद परिजनों ने राहत की सांस ली। हालांकि बच्चे के सिर में गंभीर चोट की आशंका को देखते हुए उसका उपचार जारी है। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंची और पूरे मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस का कहना है कि तहरीर के आधार पर आगे की विधिक कार्रवाई की जाएगी。

बागपत: स्वामी दीपांकर का यूजीसी पर बड़ा बयान, सरकार से पुनर्विचार की मांग

Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh:कुलदीप चौहान बागपत स्वामी दीपांकर ने यूजीसी कानून को लेकर बड़ा बयान देते हुए सरकार से पुनर्विचार की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि समानता के नाम पर लाया गया कोई भी कानून अगर समाज में असमानता और भय کا माहौल पैदा करता है, तो उस पर गंभीरता से दोबारा विचार किया जाना चाहिए। स्वामी दीपांकर ने कहा कि 21वीं सदी जातिवाद की समाप्ति का समय है और अब समाज को भेदभाव से ऊपर उठकर एकजुट होने की जरूरत है। उन्होंने हिंदू समाज की एकता और अखंडता बनाए रखने पर विशेष जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी कानून का उद्देश्य समाज को जोड़ना होना चाहिए, न कि तोड़ना। अगर किसी वर्ग में असुरक्षा की भावना पैदा हो रही है, तो सरकार को उसकी चिंता करनी चाहिए। स्वामी दीपांकर ने विश्वास जताया कि सरकार इस मुद्दे पर गंभीरता से विचार करेगी और जल्द ही सकारात्मक फैसला लेकर देश और समाज के हित में कदम उठाएगी।

Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh:चोरियों की खबरें तो अक्सर सामने आती रहती हैं, कभी ताले तोڑने की, तो कभी रात के अंधेरे में सेंधमारी की…तो कही नकाब पोश चोर, लेकिन इस बार जो चोरी का खुलासा हुआ, उसने पुलिस को भी हैरान कर दिया। क्योंकि ये चोर पूलिस को चकमा देने के लिए नकाब नहीं विग लगाते थे और पूलिस को चकमा देंने के लिए वाहन को अलग अलग रास्तो पर दोڑाते थे यूपी, दिल्ली, उत्तराखण्ड में दर्ज 20 से ज्यादा अपराधों की लिस्ट में शामिल थे दोनों चोर , 3 राज्यों की पुलिस को चकमा देने वाले ये शातिर चोर, आमिर और इमरान आखिरकार रतलाम की महिला पुलिस अफसर के सामने पस्त हो गए। मंगलबार को नामली थाना क्षेत्र में दिनदहाड़े, किसान के सूने मकान को दीनदहाड़े, मेरठ से मुंबई की ओर जा रहे इन दोनों चोरों ने निशाना बनाया। लाखों की ज्वेलरी चुराकर आरोपी फरार हो गए। शाम को जब किसान परिवार लौटा, तो घर का लॉकर टूटा मिला। और लाखो की ज्वेलरी चोरी मिली, सूचना मिलते ही थाना प्रभारी गायत्री सोनी हरकत में आईं। सीसीटीवी खंगाले गए, कार की पहचान हुई और पीछा शुरू हुआ। शातिर चोर कभी उज्जैन एक्सप्रेस-वे पर दौड़े, तो कभी यू-टर्न लेकर दिशा बदलते रहे। करीब 300 किलोमीटर तक पुलिस को भटकाने की कोशिश दोनों शातिर चोरो ने की। लेकिन एक रणनीति ने खेल पलट दिया। यू-टर्न लेते ही सामने से घिरी पुलिस टीम ने चोरों को धर दबोचा, कार से करीब 3 लाख की ज्वेलरी बरामद हुई, कार भी चोरी की निकली। आरोपी इमरान और आमिर अब रतलाम पुलिस के गिरफ्त में हैं। यूपी के ये शातिर, रतलाम पुलिस के आगे फेल हो गए, और अब रतलाम पुलिस की गिरफ्त में हैं

दहेज हत्या: पति, सास-ससुर को 10-10 वर्ष की सजा, 35-35 हजार रुपये जुर्माना

Obra, Uttar Pradesh:करीब साढ़े छह साल पुराने किरन सोनकर उर्फ रेनू हत्याकांड में अदालत ने बड़ा और सख्त फैसला सुनाया है। दहेज के लिए विवाहिता की हत्या के मामले में दोषी पति, सास और ससुर को अदालत ने दोषसिद्ध मानते हुए 10-10 वर्ष की कठोर कारावास की सजा सुनाई है। इसके साथ ही तीनों दोषियों पर 35-35 हजार रुपये का अर्थदंड भी लगाया गया है। अर्थदंड अदा न करने की स्थिति में सभी को 6-6 माह की अतिरिक्त कैद भुगतनी होगी। यह फैसला सोनभद्र की एफटीसी/सीएडब्लू कोर्ट की अपर सत्र न्यायाधीश अर्चना रानी की अदालत ने सुनाया है। अभियोजन पक्ष के अनुसार मृतका किरन सोनकर उर्फ रेनू के पिता श्यामलाल सोनकर निवासी चकिया जनपद चंदौली ने 20 मई 2019 को रॉबर्ट्सगंज कोतवाली में तहरीर देकर आरोप लगाया था कि उन्होंने अपनी बेटी की शादी 14 दिसंबर 2015 को धरम सोनकर निवासी चुर्क थाना रॉबर्ट्सगंज के साथ की थी। शादी के बाद से ही पति धरम सोनकर, सास लक्षन देवी, ससुर मिश्रीलाल और अन्य परिजन दहेज में चार पहिया वाहन की मांग को लेकर किरन को लगातार प्रताड़ित करने लगे। कई बार समझौते के प्रयास भी किए गए लेकिन हालात नहीं बदले। 20 मई 2019 की सुबह सूचना मिली कि किरन की हालत गंभीर है। ससुराल पहुंचने पर उसकी मौत हो चुकी थी और शरीर पर चोट व जलने के निशान पाए गए थे। पुलिस ने मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज कर विवेचना की और पर्याप्त साक्ष्य मिलने पर चार्जशीट दाखिल की। सुनवाई के दौरान गवाहों के बयान, साक्ष्य और पत्रावली के अवलोकन के बाद अदालत ने पति धरम सोनकर, सास लक्षन देवी और ससुर मिश्रीलाल को दोषी ठहराते हुए 10-10 वर्ष की कठोर सजा सुनाई। अदालत ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि जेल में बिताई गई अवधि सजा में समाहित होगी। अभियोजन की ओर से सरकारी वकील सत्यप्रकाश त्रिपाठी ने मामले की प्रभावी पैरवी की।

मनेंद्रगढ़ नगर पालिका घेराव: कांग्रेस पार्षद निधि में भ्रष्टाचार का आरोप तीखा प्रदर्शन

Muju, Jeonbuk State:मनेंद्रगढ़ चिरमुरी भरतपुर जिले के कांग्रेस जिला अध्यक्ष अशोक श्रीवास्तव नेतृत्व में बड़ी संख्या कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं और पार्षदों ने मनेंद्रगढ़ नगर पालिका कार्यालय का घेराव किया. कांग्रेसियों ने नगर पालिका प्रशासन के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन किया. इस दौरान प्रदर्शनकारियों ने पुलिस बैरिकेडिंग तोड़कर मुख्य गेट तक पहुंचकर धरना दिया. कांग्रेस नेताओं ने आरोप लगाया कि पार्षद निधि में भ्रष्टाचार हुआ है और कांग्रेस पार्षदों के वार्डों के साथ जानबूझकर भेदभाव किया जा रहा है. उनका कहना है कि सत्ताधारी पक्ष के वार्डों में विकास कार्य हो रहे हैं, जबकि कांग्रेस पार्षदों के क्षेत्रों में मूलभूत सुविधाओं की अनदेखी की जा रही है. सड़क, नाली और प्रकाश व्यवस्था जैसे आवश्यक कार्य लंबे समय से अधूरे पड़े हैं. कांग्रेसियों ने तहसीलदार को ज्ञापन सौंप कर मांग की है, कांग्रेस के पार्षद निधि वापस की जाए, जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों पर कार्रवाई की जाए. अगर एक महीने के अंदर कार्रवाई नहीं होती है तो उग्र आंदोलन की चेतावनी दी है. प्रदर्शन की गंभीरता को देखते हुए जिले के बाहर से भी अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल बुलाया गया था. नगर पालिका परिसर और आसपास के इलाकों में भारी संख्या में पुलिसकर्मी तैनात रहे, ताकि कानून-व्यवस्था बनी रहे. इस मामले में नगर पालिका के सीएमओ इस्हाक खान ने बताया कि पार्षदों की नाराजगी पहली किस्त की पार्षद निधि को लेकर है. उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि जिस समय यह राशि खर्च हुई, उस समय वे यहां पदस्थ नहीं थे, और इस संबंध में वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को पूरी खर्च राशि की जानकारी दे दी गई है. भेदभाव के आरोपों को खारिज करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि सभी वार्डों में सामान्य रूप से कार्य कराए जाते हैं.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:New Delhi [India], January 28 Saudi Arabia condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and the Red Fort terror incident. In the 3rd meeting of India-Saudi Arabia Security Working Group under the Political, Consular and Security Cooperation Committee of Strategic Partnership Council, both parties condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. The meeting was held on Wednesday in Riyadh. The meeting was co-chaired by Vinod Bahade, Joint Secretary (Counter Terrorism), Ministry of External Affairs and Ahmed Al-Eissa, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Interior, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as per a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs. Both sides reiterated their condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, including cross border terrorism and the dastardly terrorist attack on innocent civilians on 22 April 2025 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and the terror incident on 10 November 2025 near Red Fort, New Delhi, as per the statement. The two sides comprehensively reviewed the ongoing security cooperation. They discussed threats posed by terrorist groups globally and in their respective regions. Both sides shared views on enhancing cooperation in current and emerging challenges to counter-terrorism including countering extremism and radicalization, combating financing of terrorism. preventing use of technology for terrorist purposes, nexus between transnational organized crime and terrorism. They also deliberated upon measures to further strengthen bilateral legal and judicial cooperation and law enforcement cooperation. The next meeting of the Security Working Group will be held in India on a mutually convenient date, the statement added. Earlier on January 22, Spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal said that Secretary (South), Neena Malhotra met resident Ambassadors of Arab countries to review ongoing cooperation between India and the Arab countries. In a post on X, the MEA said, "Secretary (South), Dr. Neena Malhotra met resident Ambassadors of Arab countries to review ongoing cooperation between India and the Arab countries and also preparations for forthcoming meetings. They also identified specific focus areas and activities in diverse sectors to drive the partnership forward." (ANI)

अबुझ्माड़ में PMGSY सड़क निर्माण: भ्रष्टाचार, ठेकेदारों की लूट की कहानी

Pakhanjur, Chhattisgarh:Place - पखांजूर प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना… यानी PMGSY...योजना का मकसद....अंदरूनी और दुर्गम इलाकों को विकास की मुख्यधारा से जोड़ना।लेकिन ज़मीनी हकीकत इससे बिल्कुल उलट नज़र आ रही है।हम आपको लेकर चलेंगे अबूझमाड़ के उस इलाके में,जहाँ सड़क बन रही है या सिर्फ़ सरकारी पैसों का बंदरबांट....फैसला आप खुद सड़क की हालत देखकर कर सकते है। PMGSY के तहत अंदरूनी इलाकों में सड़कों का जाल बिछाने का दावा किया जा रहा है,t ताकि सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी योजनाओं का लाभ अंतिम व्यक्ति तक पहुँच सके।लेकिन इस दुर्गम इलाके का फायदा ठेकेदार जमकर उठा रहे हैं।हकीकत यह है कि यह योजना अब ठेकेदारों और विभागीय अफसरों के लिए सरकारी लूट का ज़रिया बन चुकी है।दुर्गम और अंदरूनी इलाके की आड़ में सड़क निर्माण के नाम पर खुलेआम भ्रष्टाचार किया जा रहा है।अंदरूनी इलाका होने की वजह से यहाँ तक हर किसी की पहुँच नहीं।यही कारण है कि ठेकेदार और कुछ जिम्मेदार अफसरों के लिए यह सड़क निर्माण मानो किसी लॉटरी से कम नहीं। अंदरूनी इलाका होने का फायदा उठाकर इस पूरे निर्माण कार्य को लॉटरी सिस्टम में बदल दिया गया है।न कोई प्रभावी निरीक्षण,न गुणवत्ता जांच,और न ही जवाबदेही,न तकनीकी निगरानी...सब कुछ काग़ज़ों में “ओके” और ज़मीन पर घटिया काम।आम लोग और ग्रामीण अनजान हैं,इसी मजबूरी का फायदा उठाकर विभागीय अफसर और ठेकेदार सरकारी पैसों पर डाका डाल रहे हैं।प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना PMGSY के तहत विकास के दावे किए जा रहे हैं,लेकिन अंदरूनी इलाकों में यह योजना अब भ्रष्टाचार की प्रयोगशाला बन चुकी है। निर्माण स्थल से 100 किलोमीटर दूर दफ्तरों में बैठकर इंजीनियर मॉनिटरिंग का औपचारिकता निभा रहे हैं,जबकि ज़मीन पर ठेकेदारों को पूरी छूट दी गई है। बताना ज़रूरी है कि यह इलाका अबूझमाड़ का उत्तरी प्रवेश द्वार कहलाता है।यही वो क्षेत्र है जहाँ पिछले साल सुरक्षा बलों ने 29 नक्सलियों को ढेर किया था,जबकि दो जवानों ने देश के लिए अपनी शहादत दी।ऐसे संवेदनशील इलाके में सड़क निर्माण किसी बड़ी चुनौती से कम नहीं। सड़क बन सके...इसके लिए सुरक्षा बलों के जवान जान जोखिम में डालकर मुस्तैदी से तैनात हैं।लेकिन सवाल ये है कि क्या जवानों की इस कुर्बानी का सम्मान घटिया निर्माण करके किया जा रहा है?अब देखना यह है....क्या सरकार इस भ्रष्टाचार पर कार्रवाई करेगी,या फिर अबूझमाड़ की सड़कें हमेशा की तरह भ्रष्टाचार की गवाही देती रहेंगी?

भारत-यूएस बीटीए पर ताजा प्रगति, EU FTA के बाद डील लगभग तय

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:New Delhi, January 28: A day after India concluded its negotiations with the European Union on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) which has been dubbed the 'mother of all deals', India is now looking towards a closure on the FTA with the United States. Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs said that even as the India-EU FTA was being negotiated, negotiations on the India-US deal had made significant progress. They said that the deal could be 'finalised any day now'. What remains for the two sides is being described as 'the dotting of the i's and crossing of the t's'. Sources said there has been a robustness in the recent round of negotiations and talks on the deal. In Davos on January 21, US President Donald Trump had expressed confidence over the India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA), noting that the two countries are 'going to have a good deal', while praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a close friend and respected leader. Trump made this comment following his address at the 56th Annual Summit of the World Economic Forum. 'I have great respect for your Prime Minister. He's a fantastic man and a friend of mine, and we are going to have a good deal,' Trump said when asked about the India-US trade deal by Moneycontrol. Earlier, India's Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal said that the much-anticipated first tranche of the India-US BTA is 'very near', but stopped short of providing a timeline. The BTA, formally proposed in February following directives from the leadership of both nations, seeks to more than double bilateral trade, from the current USD 191 billion to USD 500 billion by 2030. Talks were first announced during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Washington in February 2025. On January 9, the Ministry of External Affairs said, 'India and the United States were committed to negotiating a bilateral trade agreement with the US as far back as February 13 last year. So, I think on net, India's going to have a heyday with this,' he said. When questioned about the Tariff structure on India in respect to purchasing Russian oil, the US Trade Representative said they expect India to wind down this purchase. 'They have made a lot of progress on this. I am in frequent contact with my counterpart in India. I have a great working relationship with him, but they still have ways to go on this point. They like the discount that you get from Russian oil, so it's hard for them. The Treasury Department has put into place, you know, a few weeks ago now, more significant sanctions, so we expect India to continue to wind that down, but we're watching it closely,' he said. With India closing the big deal with the EU, it appears that the deal with the US could be the next big trade announcement.

Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh:बाराबंकी। भारतीय सिनेमा हमारे समाज का जीता जागता प्रतिबिम्ब है। बीती 23 जनवरी को रिलीज हुई बॉर्डर - 2 मूवी भारतीय सेना के शौर्य की गाथा को बयान करती है। देश के वीर सैनिको के बलिदान का इतिहास निर्देश वर्ग के नागरिक भी जान सके, अधिवक्ताओ ने इसे प्रदेश में टैक्स फ्री करने का प्रदेश सरकार को ज्ञापन भेजा है। बता दे कि 1971 में पाकिस्तान की क्रूर सेना के खिलाफ भारतीय जल, थल और वायु सेनाओ ने कम संख्या और संसाधनों के अभाव में पाकिस्तान सेना के छक्के छुड़ाए थे। फलस्वरूप पाकिस्तान के अत्याचार से बांग्लादेश आज़ाद होकर स्वतंत्र राष्ट्र के रूप में उदय हुआ था। जहाँ की जनता पर हो रहे अत्याचारों का भारतीय सेना ने खात्मा करके शान्ति का पैगाम दिया। भारतीय सेना के अनेक जवान शहीद हुए और सेना अदम्य शौर्य का परिचय देते हुए पाकिस्तान के 15 हजार से अधिक वर्ग किलोमीटर क्षेत्र पर कब्जा कर लिया था। इस युद्ध में पाकिस्तान के 93 हजार सैनिको को बंधक बनाने का इतिहास कायम किया था। सत्य घटना पर आधारित बॉर्डर-2 मूवी को देशभक्ति की प्रेरणादायक मूवी बताते हुए वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता पंकज निगम ने टैक्स फ्री किए जाने की मांग उठाई है। उन्होंने साथी अधिवक्ताओ के साथ उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री को ज्ञापन भेजकर बॉर्डर-2 को टैक्स फ्री करने की मांग की है। इस अवसर पर मनीष निगम, यशवीर सिंह, प्रशांत निगम, देवांशु पाण्डेय, संजय कुमार वर्मा, धीरज गुप्ता सहित अन्य अधिवक्ता शामिल रहे।

Durg, Chhattisgarh:एंकर सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म पर पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता भूपेश बघेल के खिलाफ अभद्र भाषा, गाली-गलौज और समाज में द्वेष फैलाने के आरोपों को लेकर बुधवार को भिलाई शहर जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी ने सुपेला थाने का घेराव किया. इस दौरान सैकड़ों की संख्या में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ता सुपेला थाना परिसर पहुंचे और आरोपी के खिलाफ तत्काल एफआईआर दर्ज कर गिरफ्तारी की मांग की. दरअसल कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने थाना परिसर के बाहर धरना दिया और जमकर नारेबाजी की. प्रदर्शनकारी थाना गेट के सामने ही बैठ गए और चेतावनी दी कि जब तक एफआईआर दर्ज नहीं की जाती और आरोपी को गिरफ्तार नहीं किया जाता तब तक वे थाने के बाहर ही डटे रहेंगे. विरोध प्रदर्शन के चलते कुछ समय के लिए क्षेत्र में तनाव की स्थिति भी बनी रही. भिलाई शहर जिला कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मुकेश चंद्राकर ने कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ विशेषकर दुर्ग जिले में लगातार बढ़ते अपराध चिंता का विषय हैं. उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि अपराधियों के हौसले इतने बुलंद हो चुके हैं कि वे अब वरिष्ठ नेताओं के खिलाफ भी खुलेआम आपत्तिजनक और अपमानजनक टिप्पणियां कर रहे हैं. मुकेश चंद्राकर ने बताया कि सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म ‘एक्स’ पर अमित सेन नाम का व्यक्ति लगातार पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल के खिलाफ आपत्तिजनक कमेंट कर रहा है जिससे समाज में नकारात्मक माहौल बन रहा है. उन्होंने बताया कि थाना प्रभारी ने उनसे समय मांगा है और कहा है कि यह मामला आईटी एक्ट के तहत आता है इसलिए उचित धाराओं में केस दर्ज करने की प्रक्रिया की जा रही है. कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने स्पष्ट किया कि वे केवल आश्वासन से संतुष्ट नहीं होंगे और कार्रवाई पूरी होने तक आंदोलन जारी रखेंगे. मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पुलिस के उच्च अधिकारी भी मौके पर पहुंचे और प्रदर्शनकारियों से बातचीत कर उन्हें शांत कराया. पुलिस अधिकारियों ने आश्वासन दिया कि मामले में कानूनी प्रक्रिया के तहत कार्रवाई की जाएगी वहीं कांग्रेस नेताओं ने जानकारी दी कि इस पूरे प्रकरण को लेकर रायपुर में भी औपचारिक शिकायत दर्ज कराई जा चुकी है.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:New Delhi [India], Jan 28: Amid mounting concerns over trade-impeding regulations, India and the European Union have built two key safeguards into the free trade agreement to protect negotiated market access and benefits against future regulatory actions, officials said. The provisions—a Rapid Response Mechanism and a Non-Violation Complaints (NVCs) clause—are aimed at addressing the risks posed by the EU's expanding regulatory framework, which Indian exporters and service providers have increasingly flagged as a source of uncertainty and compliance burden. The safeguards assume significance against the backdrop of the EU's growing use of regulations covering sustainability, climate action, labour standards, digital governance and product compliance, many of which, while not directly discriminatory, can materially affect market access for trading partners. These two provisions will help India in dealing with challenges of EU's regulations in future and protect FTA benefits. Explaining the rationale behind the mechanisms, India's chief negotiator Darpan Jain said regulations could emerge in future that may not breach the letter of the agreement but could still disrupt trade flows. "Regulations may come up which may raise concerns for trade. To deal with such situations, we have agreed on a high-powered rapid response mechanism which allows an issue to be taken up immediately between the two sides," Jain said. He added that if a matter is not resolved at the technical or official level, it can be escalated to the ministerial level. "This escalation mechanism itself is a new element in the India-EU agreement," he said. The Non-Violation Complaints provision, Jain said, is designed to address scenarios where a new regulation, law or administrative instruction does not directly violate the agreement but still impairs its benefits. "There is no direct violation — that is why it is called non-violation — but the measure acts in a manner that market access gets impaired. This provision gives us a structured way to deal with such measures," he said. India and the EU signed the agreement on Tuesday, with officials describing it as one of the most comprehensive trade pacts concluded by New Delhi, combining market access with built-in safeguards against future regulatory shocks. Under the agreement, India will secure preferential market access on 96.8% of EU tariff lines, covering 99.5% of India's exports to the bloc. As much as 90.7% of Indian exports by value are set to become duty-free immediately upon the agreement's entry into force, marking one of the deepest tariff liberalisation commitments secured by New Delhi in any trade pact. Labour-intensive sectors accounting for over USD 33 billion in exports, including apparel, textiles, leather and footwear, and gems and jewellery, are among the biggest beneficiaries, with duty-free access kicking in from day one. In agriculture, India has secured preferential access on around 87% of tariff lines for products of key interest such as tea, coffee, spices, table grapes, cucumber and gherkins, dried onion, sweet corn, select fresh fruits and vegetables, and processed food products. The FTA provides market access in 144 services subsectors, including IT and ITeS, professional services, other business services and education. It also establishes a facilitative and predictable framework for short-term business mobility and temporary travel. AYUSH practitioners will be able to offer services in the EU based on qualifications obtained in India, while the agreement also provides for continued engagement on social security arrangements, with 13 agreements already in place and seven under negotiation.
