:Kargil, December 15, 2025: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd. Jaffer Akhoon, also the Councillor of Thasgam–Thovina Constituency, today distributed electrical induction cooktops among beneficiaries belonging to economically weaker sections. The cooktops were provided by the Ladakh Power Development Department (LPDD) under the National Efficient Cooking Programme (NECP). The NECP is a flagship initiative of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), implemented in Ladakh through LPDD, aimed at promoting clean, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable cooking solutions. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Jaffer Akhoon congratulated the beneficiaries and stated that LPDD had supplied a limited number of induction cooktops to each Councillor. He informed that, following a transparent and proper exercise, a list of deserving beneficiaries was prepared to ensure fair distribution. He further assured that any left-out eligible households would be covered under other suitable schemes in the future. The CEC emphasized that clean cooking technologies play a vital role in reducing indoor air pollution, improving public health, and enhancing overall quality of life, particularly for underprivileged families. Highlighting the broader vision of the programme, Dr. Akhoon noted that the initiative aligns with the national goals of “Green India, Clean India”, promoting energy efficiency and sustainable living in the region. He appreciated the coordinated efforts of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency and LPDD for successfully implementing this people-centric scheme in Kargil district. Rajsamand, Mohi, Rajasthan:राजसमंद प्रदेश सरकार के 2 साल पूर्ण होने पर बढ़ता राजस्थान कार्यक्रम, राजसमंद जिला परिवहन अधिकारी राघव शर्मा ने भी शुरू की मुहिम, सड़क सुरक्षा सप्ताह के तहत जागरूकता रथ किए गए रवाना, कलेक्टर हसीजा और एडीएम बुनकर ने झंडी दिखाकर किया रवाना, रथ जिलेभर के सभी उपखंडों में जाकर देगा जागरूकता संदेश, राजस्थान की भजनलाल सरकार के 2 वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर बढ़ता राजस्थान कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। कल उपमुख्यमंत्री डॉ प्रेमचंद बैरवा ने विधिवत कार्यक्रम का आगाज किया था। आज जिला कलेक्टर अरुण कुमार हसीजा और एड़ीएम नरेश बुनकर सहित एसडीएम बृजेश गुप्ता ने सड़क सुरक्षा सप्ताह के तहत जागरूकता रथ को झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। जिला कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान जिला परिवहन अधिकारी राघव शर्मा के साथ विभाग के तीन इंस्पेक्टर और अन्य स्टाफ मौजूद रहा। डिटीओ राघव शर्मा ने बताया यह रथ प्रतिदिन 10 से अधिक पंचायत में घूमते हुए सड़क सुरक्षा और जीवन रक्षा का संदेश देगा। इसके लिए रूट चार्ट बनाकर अलग से अधिकारी नियुक्त कर दिया गया है जो लगातार सप्ताह के दौरान इस रथ के मूवमेंट की मॉनिटरिंग करेगा। सड़क सुरक्षा सप्ताह के अंत मे समारोह पूर्वक समापन किया जाएगा。

Tonk, Rajasthan:टोंक एक समुदाय के दो पक्षों में खूनी संघर्ष धारदार हथियारों से किया हमला, आधा दर्जन लोग गंभीर घायल टोंक: शहर के पुरानी टोंक थाना क्षेत्र में एक समुदाय के दो पक्षों के बीच मकान के छज्जे को लेकर विवाद हो गया, जो देखते ही देखते झगड़े में बदल गया। दोनों पक्षों ने एक-दूसरे पर धारदार हथियारों से हमला कर दिया. लहूलुहान हालात में सभी को जिला अस्पताल में रेफर किया घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुरानी टोंक थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और हालात को काबू में किया। झगड़े में दोनों पक्षों के करीब आधा दर्जन लोग घायल हो गए। सभी घायलों को उपचार के लिए सआदत अस्पताल लाया गया, जहां उनका इलाज जारी है. बताया जा रहा निर्माणाधीन मकान के छज्जे को लेकर कहासुनी हुई दोनों पक्ष धारदार हथियारों से एक दूसरे पर हमला कर दिया फिलहाल पुलिस पूरे मामले की जांच कर रही है।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:विकसित भारत – रोजगार और आजीविका गारंटी (ग्रामीण) (विकसित भारत–जी राम जी) विधेयक, 2025 14D. श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान एक विधेयक प्रस्तुत करने की अनुमति मांगेंगे, जिसका उद्देश्य विकसित भारत 2047 के राष्ट्रीय दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप एक ग्रामीण विकास ढांचा स्थापित करना है। इसके तहत प्रत्येक वित्तीय वर्ष में प्रत्येक ग्रामीण परिवार के लिए, जिनके वयस्क सदस्य अकुशल शारीरिक श्रम करने के लिए स्वेच्छा से तैयार हों, 125 दिनों के मजदूरी रोजगार की वैधानिक गारंटी प्रदान की जाएगी。 इस विधेयक का उद्देश्य सशक्तिकरण, विकास, अभिसरण और संतृप्ति को बढ़ावा देना है, ताकि एक समृद्ध और सक्षम ग्रामीण भारत का निर्माण किया जा सके, तथा इससे जुड़े या आनुषंगिक विषयों का प्रावधान किया जा सके। साथ ही विधेयक को प्रस्तुत करने के लिए। केद्र सरकार ने मनरेगा का नाम बदला संबंधित बिल को पेश करेंगे कृषि मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान संशोधित बिजनेस लिस्ट में नया बिल शामिल किया गया राम जी के नाम पर होगा नए बिल का नाम बिल का पूरा नाम यह होगा- The Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Aieevika Mission (Gramin): VB- G RAMG ( विकसित भारत - जी राम जी) Bill It establishes a modern statutory framework aligned with Viksit Bharat 2047, guaranteeing 125 days of wage employment per rural household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work. The Act strengthens the rural economy through productive asset creation, higher incomes, and better resilience: - Water Security: Water-related works are prioritised. Mission Amrit Sarovar already created/rejuvenated 68,000 water bodies, demonstrating clear agricultural and groundwater impact. - Core Rural Infrastructure: Roads, connectivity and foundational infrastructure boost market access and rural business activity. - Livelihood Infrastructure: Storage, markets, and production assets support income diversification. - Climate Resilience: Infrastructure for water harvesting, flood drainage, and soil conservation protects rural livelihoods. - Higher Employment & Consumption: 125 guaranteed days increase household earnings, stimulating the village economy. - Reduced Distress Migration: With more rural opportunities and durable assets, migration pressures fall. - Digital Formalization: Digital attendance, digital payments and data-driven planning increase efficiency. 4. How will the new scheme benefit farmers? Farmers benefit directly through both labour availability and better agricultural infrastructure. - Guaranteed Labour Availability: States may notify periods aggregating up to 60 days during peak sowing/harvesting when MGNREGA work stops. This prevents labour shortages during critical farm operations and avoids labour being diverted away to guaranteed-wage worksites. - Preventing Wage Inflation: Stopping public works during peaks prevents artificial wage inflation that raises food production costs. - Water & Irrigation Assets: Prioritised water works improve irrigation, groundwater and multi-season cropping potential (supported by the 68,000 Amrit Sarovar water bodies achievement). - Better Connectivity & Storage: Core and livelihood infrastructure helps farmers store produce, reduce losses, and access markets. - Climate Resilience: Flood-drainage, water harvesting and soil conservation protect crops and reduce damage. 5. How will the new scheme benefit labourers? Labourers gain from higher guaranteed days, better wages, strong protections, and transparent systems. - Higher Income: 125 guaranteed days = 25% more potential earnings. - Predictable Work: Hyperlocal Viksit Gram Panchayat Plans ensure planned, advance-mapped work availability. - Digital Payments & Protection: Electronic wages (already 99.94% in 2024-25) continue with full biometric and Aadhaar-based verification, eliminating wage theft. - Unemployment Allowance: If work is not given, states must pay unemployment allowance. - Asset Creation Benefits Workers Too: Workers build and benefit from improved roads, water, and livelihood assets. 6. Why is there a need to change MGNREGA now? o MGNREGA was built for 2005, but rural India has transformed. o Poverty fell sharply from 25.7% (2011–12) to 4.86% (2023–24), supported by rising consumption, incomes and financial access recorded in MPCE and NABARD RECSS surveys. o With stronger social protection, better connectivity, deeper digital access and more diverse rural livelihoods, the old framework no longer matched today’s rural economy. o Given this structural change, MGNREGA’s open-ended model had become outdated. o The Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB – G RAM G (विकसित भारत – जी राम जी) Bill modernises the system, raising guaranteed days, refocusing priorities, and building a more accountable, targeted, and relevant employment framework for today’s rural economy. 7. Why shift from demand-based to normative funding? o Normative funding aligns MGNREGA with the budgeting model used for most Government of India schemes, without reducing the employment guarantee. o A demand-based model leads to unpredictable allocations and mismatched budgeting. Normative funding uses objective parameters, ensuring predictable, rational planning while still guaranteeing that every eligible worker receives employment or unemployment allowance. 8. Does normative funding weaken the guarantee of 125 days? No, the guarantee is strengthened with employment days increased to 125. o Forecasting accuracy shown by FY 2024-25 when allocation matched demand perfectly o States Centre share responsibility o Special relaxations allowed during disasters o If work is not provided, unemployment allowance is mandatory o Thus the right to guaranteed employment remains legally protected. 9. Were no attempts made to improve MNREGA earlier? Major improvements were made, but they could not overcome deeper structural problems. Key gains (FY 13-14 vis a vis FY 2025-26): o Women’s participation: 48% → 56.74% o Aadhaar-seeded active workers: 76 lakhs → 12.11crore o Workers on APBS: 0 → 11.93crore o Geo-tagged assets: 0 → 6.44 crore o e-payments: 37% → 99.99% o Individual assets: 17.6% → 62.96% Despite these advances, misappropriation continued, digital attendance was bypassed, and assets often failed to match expenditure. The scale and persistence of these issues showed that MNREGA’s architecture had reached its limits, making a new, modernised Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB – G RAM G (विकसित भारत – जी राम जी) Bill necessary. 10. What were the problems with MNREGA that necessitated a change? While many attempts were made to improve its functioning, major systemic failures persisted: o Investigations in 19 districts of West Bengal found non-existent works, rule violations, and fund misuse, leading to a freeze. o Monitoring across 23 states in FY 2025–26 revealed works “not found or not commensurate with expenditure,” machine use where labour was required, and large-scale bypassing of NMMS attendance. o In 2024–25, misappropriation totalled ₹193.67 crore across states. Only 7.61% of households completed 100 days in the post-pandemic period. o These entrenched issues such as leakages, weak verification, and poor compliance required a new framework, not minor tweaks. The GRG Act creates a clean, digitally governed, accountable, and infrastructure-focused system. 11. What transparency and social protection measures are built into new Act? o AI-based fraud detection o Central State Steering Committees for oversight o Focus on 4 key verticals for rural development o Enhanced monitoring role for Panchayats o GPS/mobile-based monitoring o real-time MIS dashboards o weekly public disclosures o stronger social audits (twice a year for every GP) 12. Why shift from a central sector to a centrally sponsored scheme? Because rural employment is inherently local. o States now share cost & responsibility o Better incentives to prevent misuse o Plans tailored to regional conditions through Gram Panchayat Plans o Centre retains standards, while states execute with accountability o This partnership model improves efficiency and reduces misuse. 13. Will this burden states financially? No. The structure is balanced and sensitive to state capacity. o Standard ratio: 60:40 (Centre: State) o North-east & Himalayan states/UT: 90:10 o UTs without legislature: 100% funded by Central Funds o States already paid 25% materials & 50% admin earlier o Predictable normative allocation aids budgeting o States can request extra support during disasters o Better oversight reduces long-term losses from misappropriation 14. Why is a 60-day no-work period mandated, and what happens to workers then? o It ensures labour availability during sowing/harvest o Prevents sharp wage inflation that raises food prices o Workers naturally shift to agriculture, which pays higher seasonal wages o 60 days is aggregated, not continuous o Workers still get 125 guaranteed days in the remaining ~300 days o Thus farmers and labourers both benefit.

पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे पर भीषण हादसा: बस पीछे से टकराई, एक की मौत, छह घायल

Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh:पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे पर भीषण सड़क हादसा, एक की मौत, करीब आधा दर्जन लोग घायल। जनपद आजमगढ़ के अहरौला थाना क्षेत्र में समशाबाद गांव के पास पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे के किलोमीटर संख्या 207 पर एक भीषण सड़क हादसा हो गया। तेज रफ्तार कंटेनर ने सड़क किनारे खड़ी बस में पीछे से जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि बस डिवाइडर से टकराते हुए करीब 50 मीटर तक घिसटती चली गई। हादसे में बस सवार आधा दर्जन से अधिक यात्री गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए, जबकि एक यात्री की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। बताया गया कि यह बस राजस्थान से यात्रियों को लेकर बलिया की तरफ जा रही थी। इस हादसे में मृतक की पहचान दीपक चौहान 17 वर्षीय निवासी लाडो बलिया थाना मुबारकपुर आजमगढ़ के रूप में हुई। मौके पर पहुंची यूपीडा टीम ने बचाव कार्य किया। जबकि मौके पर पहुंचे थानाध्यक्ष अहरौला के द्वारा शव को अपनी सुपुर्दगी में लेकर घायलों को तत्काल सीएचसी अहरौला में उपचार के लिए भिजवाया। घायलों के प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद 4 लोगों को गंभीर स्थिति में जिला अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया है। बताया गया कि हादसे के समय मृतक दीपक बस से उतरकर लघुशंका कर रहे थे, तभी कंटेनर की चपेट में आ गये, जिससे उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। जिसकी मौत से परिजनों में कोहराम मच गया। वहीं गंभीर रूप से घायलों को जिला अस्पताल रेफर में संतोष कुमार (27 वर्षीय) निवासी थाना सिकंदरपुर बलिया, राहुल यादव (25 वर्षीय) निवासी जनपद बलिया, नसीम (25 वर्षीय) निवासी मड़या बुजुर्ग, जनपद गाजीपुर, मुक्खु (55 वर्षीय) निवासी कमालगढ़, जनपद मऊ शामिल हैं। सीओ बुढ़नपुर ने बताया कि इस मामले में थाना अहरौला द्वारा मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर अग्रिम विधिक कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

Jalalpur, Uttar Pradesh:जलालपुर में जिला उद्योग व्यापार प्रतिनिधि मंडल जिलाध्यक्ष आनंद जायसवाल के नेतृत्व में जलालपुर नगर पालिका पर अवैध वसूली और मनमाने हाउस टैक्स के गंभीर आरोप लगाते हुए उपजिलाधिकारी राहुल गुप्ता को ज्ञापन सौंपकर कार्रवाई की मांग की है। व्यापार मंडल जिला उपाध्यक्ष देवेश मिश्र ने कहा कि नगर पालिका द्वारा विभिन्न रूपों में अवैध वसूली की जा रही है, जबकि क्षेत्र में पांच साल पहले परिसीमन के बाद भी बुनियादी सुविधाओं का गंभीर अभाव है।ज्ञापन में पूर्ण सुविधाएं मिलने तक टैक्स में छूट दी जाए, तुरंत प्रॉपर्टी रजिस्टर बनाया जाए, तथा खाली प्लॉट, धार्मिक स्थलों और सरकारी भवनों पर लगने वाले हाउस टैक्स को रोका जाए। इस अवसर पर आदित्य गोयल,सीताराम अग्रहरि,शंभु गुप्ता,महताब अहमद,गौरव उपाध्याय, हरिओम सोनी,बबलू गौड,आत्माराम गुप्ता, विनोद गुप्त बिनु आदि मौजूद रहे.

Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh:जौनपुर पहुंचे मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव, राज्यमंत्री गिरीश चंद्र यादव के पिता की तेरहवीं में हुए शामिल जौनपुर जिले में मंगलवार को मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव का आगमन हुआ। वह उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार में राज्य मंत्री गिरीश चंद्र यादव के पिता की तेरहवीं संस्कार कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने के लिए दोपहर लगभग 1:30 बजे मंत्री के पैतृक आवास पहुंचे। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने स्वर्गीय पिता के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी और शोकाकुल परिजनों से भेंट कर संवेदना व्यक्त की। इस दौरान उन्होंने परिवार को ढांढस बंधाया और ईश्वर से दिवंगत आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की। कार्यक्रम के बाद मीडिया से संक्षिप्त बातचीत में मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने कहा कि वह श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने आए हैं और यह सब बाबा की कृपा से संभव हो पाया है। उनके आगमन को लेकर स्थानीय स्तर पर सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम किए गए थे。

Dungarpur, Rajasthan:राज्य सरकार के दो वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर पादरड़ी बड़ी पहुँचा विकास रथ, विधायक सहित आमजन ने किया स्वागत राज्य सरकार के दो वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर सरकार की ओर से डूंगरपुर जिले की चारो विधानसभा क्षेत्रो में गाँव-गाँव विकास रथ पहुँच रहे है | इसी कड़ी में सागवाड़ा विधानसभा क्षेत्र के पादरड़ी बड़ी में विकास रथ पहुंचा जहा विधायक शंकरलाल डेचा सहित भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओ व आमजन ने रथ का स्वागत किया | इस मौके पर विकास रथ के माध्यम से आमजन को सरकार की 2 वर्ष की उपलब्धियाँ गिनाने के साथ सरकार की योजनाओ की भी जानकारी दी गई | इस मौके पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में विधायक शंकरलाल डेचा ने राज्य सरकार द्वारा पिछले दो वर्षों में संचालित विभिन्न जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि सरकार ने आमजन के हित में कई महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिए हैं और विकास को नई दिशा दी है। विधायक शंकरलाल डेचा ने बताया कि पादरड़ी बड़ी ग्राम पंचायत में राज्य सरकार की ओर से लगभग 21 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से विभिन्न निर्माण कार्यों की स्वीकृति मिली है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री भजनलाल शर्मा के नेतृत्व में राज्य सरकार समाज के हर वर्ग के विकास के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है। विधायक डेचा ने कहा कि सागवाड़ा विधानसभा क्षेत्र में करोड़ों रुपये की सौगात दी गई है, जिसका लाभ आने वाले समय में क्षेत्र की जनता को मिलेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की योजनाएं और विकास कार्य आमजन के जीवन में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन ला रहे हैं। विकास रथ के स्वागत के लिए पादरड़ी बड़ी में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में भाजपा कार्यकर्ता और आमजन उपस्थित रहे। सभी ने राज्य सरकार के दो वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर बधाई दी और विकास रथ के माध्यम से सरकार की उपलब्धियों की जानकारी प्राप्त की।
