Padshahi Bagh Srinagar की सड़कों की गुणवत्ता पर नमूने जुटाने की तैयारी, जांच जारी
Srinagar, Uttarakhand:A few days ago, The Padshah Bagh Srinagar Welfare Committee held a press conference and Salaam TV broadcast it. Youth Welfare Committee Demands Probe into Poor-Quality Road Macadamisation in Padshahi Bagh. Today, in the presence of members of the Youth Welfare Committee and the general public, samples from the newly macadamised roads in Padshahi Bagh were collected around six different locations for testing by laboratory and R&B authorities, in the presence of local residents and members of the public. The samples have been collected to ascertain whether the material used and the thickness of the macadamisation conform to the prescribed technical specifications and government standards. The committee said that samples from multiple locations would help establish the actual quality of the road work and determine whether the work has been executed according to the approved specifications. Youth Welfare Committee General Secretary Ajaz Aziz Shah said the committee does not want to level allegations against any individual without a proper investigation. He said the concerns raised by residents should instead be addressed through a transparent, impartial and technical examination. Committee Advisor Abdul Rashid said public money is being spent on infrastructure projects and there should be no compromise with the quality of development works. He demanded that the laboratory reports of the collected samples be made public so that residents can know the actual quality of the road. Chief Organiser Mohammad Yaseen Bhat said the road had been macadamised after a long gap and, therefore, the authorities have a greater responsibility to ensure that the work is durable and meets the required standards. He demanded a detailed investigation into the execution of the project, including the quality of material used, the thickness of the road and compliance with the approved technical specifications. Secretary Ravees Ahmad said the Youth Welfare Committee would continue to pursue the matter with the concerned authorities until a fair and transparent investigation is completed. The committee has appealed to the Roads & Buildings Department and other concerned authorities to conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of the road and take appropriate action if any deficiency or violation of prescribed standards is established. The committee also urged the authorities to ensure that laboratory or forensic testing of the collected samples is conducted impartially and that the final report is shared with the public. Committee members stressed that their demand is not politically motivated, but is aimed at protecting public interest and ensuring that taxpayers' money is utilised properly. The Youth Welfare Committee has called for a fair investigation, transparent laboratory testing and corrective measures wherever shortcomings are found, saying that the people of Padshahi Bagh deserve a durable and quality road0

Srinagar, Uttarakhand:Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ruled out resigning over demands raised by the BJP, saying he would not step down merely to “please the Leader of the Opposition”, while accusing the administration of treating the BJP and National Conference protests differently. Addressing the media, Omar said the government had sought a five-year mandate from the people and would place its report card before them after completing its term. He also questioned the basis of allegations regarding backdoor appointments, asking the LoP to name the agency that had investigated the alleged irregularities or the FIR registered in connection with them. “You saw BJP being allowed to protest and National Conference not being allowed to protest. That is what you saw. So please don’t draw a false equivalence, because there is no equivalence in the way in which the two parties were treated by the administration, by the police, Omar told reporters. One was facilitated and one was brutally repressed. Colleagues of mine were dragged, they were injured, and some of them had to seek treatment in hospital. So that was what was done with National Conference. The BJP was escorted. You were there; I saw many of you accompanying that protest. The ease with which you were able to interview the Leader of the Opposition during their protest was seen by all of us, he said. So please don’t say that you saw two protests, you didn’t. You saw one, and you saw one protest that was denied. This in itself tells you the situation that exists in Jammu and Kashmir today, where if you want to march on the Chief Minister’s residence, you’re allowed to, Omar told media. If you want to gherao the secretariat, you’re allowed to. But if you want to protest outside the BJP’s office, God forbid, that you will not be allowed—because the police is there only to protect the honor of the BJP. They don’t care about anything else, he said. On being asked about challenge made by LoP Sunil Sharma, Omar said, “We sought votes on that very basis, so why should I resign? Are we supposed to assume that they are simply not going to grant statehood to this government? If that is the case, for God’s sake, why don’t we hear this directly from the central government? If they truly wish to tear the Constitution of India to shreds, disrespect the Supreme Court, disrespect Parliament, and prove Prime Minister Modi’s promise false, then let them go ahead and do so. I will not resign merely to please the Leader of the Opposition. The people of Jammu and Kashmir have given us a mandate for five years, and we will place our report card before the people after five years, he said. As for the rest of the allegations being leveled—tell me, my government does not even have the jurisdiction or authority to investigate them. So let the LoP clarify: what investigation has actually been carried out? If backdoor appointments took place, which agency investigated them? Just name one. If irregularities occurred, the Anti-Corruption Bureau is not under my control, the Crime Branch is not under my control, and the CID is not under my control0

घाटशिला हादसे में नदी से बची महिला, बेटी की मौत और कार चालक की पिटाई
Ghatshila, Jharkhand:घाटशिला थाना क्षेत्र के अमाईनगर स्थित सुवर्णरेखा नदी पुल पर बुधवार की देर रात तेज रफ्तार और अनियंत्रित कार ने ऐसा कहर बरपाया कि देखते ही देखते चीख-पुकार मच गई। अनियंत्रित कार ने पहले एक स्कूटी और दो बाइक को टक्कर मारी। इसके बाद बाइक से जा रहे एक परिवार को जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि बाइक पर सवार सुष्मिता सिन्हा (40) उछलकर सीधे सुवर्णरेखा नदी में जा गिरीं और तेज धार में बह गईं। हादसे में उनके पति सुन्नतो सिंह, छह वर्षीय बेटी श्रेया सिन्हा और चार वर्षीय बेटा चंदू सिंह समेत कुल आठ लोग घायल हो गए।0

गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे पर बस पलटी: 10 घायल, यात्रियों में दहशत
Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh:गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे पर 60 यात्रियों से भरी बस पलटी, 10 घायल हरदोई में गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे पर गुरुवार को बड़ा हादसा हो गया। किलोमीटर संख्या 286 के पास लुधियाना से उन्नाव के बांगरमऊ जा रही यात्रियों से भरी बस UP81BT7608 अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर पलट गई। बस में करीब 60 यात्री सवार थे। हादसा होते ही यात्रियों में चीख-पुकार मच गई। दुर्घटना में 10 यात्री घायल हो गए। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही थानाध्यक्ष प्रिंस कुमार पुलिस टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस ने तत्काल राहत और बचाव कार्य शुरू कराया। घायलों को एंबुलेंस की मदद से उपचार के लिए सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र सवायजपुर भेजा गया।पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर मौजूद यात्रियों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकालने के साथ स्थिति को संभाला। हादसे के बाद कुछ देर तक मौके पर अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बना रहा। बताया जा रहा है कि हादसे के बाद बस चालक और कंडक्टर मौके से फरार हो गए। पुलिस उनकी तलाश में जुटी है। फिलहाल बस के अनियंत्रित होकर पलटने के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल पर आवश्यक कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है और हादसे से जुड़े सभी पहलुओं की पड़ताल की जा रही है।0

Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh:एकंर -छतरपुर के नौगांव एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है। वायरल वीडियो में एक युवक सड़क पर बाइक से खतरनाक स्टंट करता हुआ नजर आ रहा है। वीडियो में युवक बिना हेलमेट और लापरवाही से बाइक चलाते हुए स्टंट करता दिख रहा है। सड़क पर इस तरह का करतब न केवल बाइक सवार के लिए, बल्कि सड़क से गुजर रहे अन्य वाहन चालकों और राहगीरों के लिए भी बड़े हादसे का कारण बन सकता है। वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद अब पुलिस की कार्रवाई पर सवाल उठ रहे है, बाइक सवार कौन है, इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि अभी नहीं हुई है।0
