जोरदार बारिश की वजह से शहर में कई जगह जल भराव हो गया। जिसके चलते पानी लोगों के घरों में घुसने लगा, मगर नगर कॉन्सिल नंगल के कर्मचारी इस भारी बारिश में भी पानी की निकासी को लेकर काम करते रहे और इस मौके पर खुद नगर कौंसिल नंगल के चेयरमैन भी इस बारिश में मोजूद रहे।

240 ग्राम चरस के साथ तस्कर गिरफ्तार

Baheri, Uttar Pradesh:बहेड़ी, जनपद बरेली। अवैध मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत थाना बहेड़ी पुलिस ने 240 ग्राम चरस (सुल्फा) के साथ एक तस्कर को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने ग्राम सैदपुर की ओर नहर पुलिया के पास संदिग्ध व्यक्ति को रोककर तलाशी ली, जहां से चरस बरामद हुई। मौके से एक स्प्लेंडर मोटरसाइकिल भी सीज की गई। गिरफ्तार अभियुक्त की पहचान सफीउल्ला पुत्र अताउल्ला निवासी भिरकारीपुर थाना सुनगढ़ी जनपद पीलीभीत, उम्र लगभग 50 वर्ष के रूप में हुई है। पूछताछ में उसने मादक पदार्थों की बिक्री कर अवैध रूप से धन अर्जित करने की बात स्वीकार की है। पुलिस ने अभियुक्त के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर अग्रिम कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:शिक्षा मंत्री मदन दिलावर का बड़ा बयान – “भ्रष्टाचारी कोई भी हो, सबको जेल जाना चाहिए” बूंदी दौरे पर पहुंचे राजस्थान के शिक्षा मंत्री मदन दिलावर ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए तीखा बयान दिया। मंत्री दिलावर ने कहा कि “भ्रष्टाचार करने वाला कोई भी हो, उसे जेल जाना चाहिए — चाहे वह मदन दिलावर हो या कांग्रेस का नेता।” उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि राज्य में करीब 2000 करोड़ रुपए का मिड डे मील घोटाला हुआ है, जिसकी जांच एसीबी कर रही है। दिलावर ने दावा किया कि इस मामले में कांग्रेस से जुड़े कई लोग जेल जाने वाले हैं। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि जिस प्रकार जल जीवन मिशन में घोटाले सामने आए थे, उसी तरह मिड डे मील प्रकरण में भी सख्त कार्रवाई होगी। कांग्रेस प्रदेशाध्यक्ष गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा के संभावित जेल जाने को लेकर दिए जा रहे बयानों पर मंत्री दिलावर ने कहा, “मैं सच बोलता हूं।” राजनीति‍क बयानबाजी के बाद प्रदेश की सियासत में हलचल तेज हो गई है।

बलरामपुर में 57वीं शिव बारात ने आस्था और सांस्कृतिक एकता की मिसाल बनाई

Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh:बलरामपुर नगर में रविवार शाम को भक्ति का अनूठा संगम देखने को मिला है। महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर रविवार को नगर में धार्मिक आस्था और उत्साह का अद्भुत नज़ारा देखने को मिला, जब शिव नाट्यकला मंडल की ओर से 57वीं पारंपरिक शिव बारात धूमधाम से निकाली गई। रामलीला मैदान से शुरू हुई इस भव्य शोभायात्रा में हजारों श्रद्धालुओं ने भाग लिया और पूरे नगर का माहौल “हर-हर महादेव” तथा “बोल बम” के जयघोष से भक्तिमय हो उठा। बारात की शुरुआत ढोल-नगाड़ों और गाजे-बाजा के साथ हुई। भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती की आकर्षक झांकियों के साथ बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों की प्रस्तुति, नंदी की झांकी, मां दुर्गा का महिषासुर मर्दन स्वरूप, राम दरबार, श्रवण कुमार और ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ जैसी झांकियां श्रद्धालुओं के लिए विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र रहीं। श्रद्धालुओं ने विभिन्न स्थानों पर पुष्पवर्षा कर बारात का स्वागत किया। झारखंडी महादेव मंदिर में दर्शन-पूजन के बाद शोभायात्रा नगर के प्रमुख मार्गों—मेजर चौराहा, अंबेडकर तिराहा, वीर विनय चौराहा, सराय फाटक, सब्जी मंडी, चौक, गर्ल्स कॉलेज, देवी दयाल तिराहा, बड़े पुल और मेन चौक—से गुजरती हुई पुनः रामलीला मैदान पहुंची। यहां विधि-विधान के साथ शिव विवाह संपन्न कराया गया, जिसने आयोजन को पूर्णता प्रदान की। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि सदर विधायक पलटूराम और तुलसीपुर विधायक कैलाश नाथ शुक्ला ने किया। विशिष्ट अतिथियों में नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष डॉ. धीरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह धीरू, ब्लॉक प्रमुख राकेश तिवारी तथा समिति अध्यक्ष राजकुमार श्रीवास्तव शामिल रहे। सभी अतिथियों ने भगवान शिव की आरती उतारकर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। समिति अध्यक्ष राजकुमार श्रीवास्तव के नेतृत्व में आयोजन की व्यवस्थाएं सुव्यवस्थित रहीं। महामंत्री डॉ. तुलसीश दुबे ने बताया कि दूर-दराज से आए श्रद्धालुओं ने शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से दर्शन-पूजन किया। सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए विशेष वॉकी-टॉकी टीम तैनात रही, जिसने पूरे आयोजन के दौरान अनुशासन बनाए रखा। शिव की भूमिका में अक्षय शुक्ला ने शानदार प्रस्तुति देकर दर्शकों की खूब प्रशंसा बटोरी। वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष अजय श्रीवास्तव ने मंचीय समन्वय की जिम्मेदारी निभाई, जबकि सुनील कसेरा और अम्बरीष शुक्ला ने मार्ग व्यवस्था को सुचारु बनाया। पारंपरिक मार्ग से निकली इस भव्य शिव बारात के साथ 57वें वार्षिकोत्सव का समापन हुआ। नगरवासियों ने आयोजन को धार्मिक एकता, सांस्कृतिक विरासत और सामाजिक समरसता का प्रतीक बताते हुए इसकी सराहना की।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:New Delhi, February 15: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will co-chair the 6th India-France Annual Defence Dialogue with France's Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, Catherine Vautrin, in Bengaluru on February 17, as per an official release by the Ministry of Defence. The meeting will review the entire gamut of bilateral defence cooperation, with a focus on expanding industrial collaboration, the release stated. During the dialogue, a defence cooperation agreement is expected to be renewed for another 10 years. An MoU on a joint venture for the manufacturing of Hammer missiles is also likely to be signed in the presence of both Defence Ministers. An announcement is expected regarding the reciprocal deployment of officers at Indian Army and French Land Forces establishments. The two Ministers are also expected to witness the virtual inauguration of the H125 Light Utility Helicopter Final Assembly of Tata Airbus by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron at Vemagal, Karnataka, the release noted. Defence has traditionally formed an important pillar of the India-France relationship. The strong bilateral ties were reflected in 2024-2025 through a series of high-profile exchanges. PM Modi was the Guest of Honour at the Bastille Day Parade in July 2023, and the French President attended the Republic Day Parade 2024 as the Chief Guest. The recent India-EU Security & Defence Partnership marked a significant step in deepening engagement with European nations. Military-to-military cooperation has been increasing, with India and France regularly conducting three major exercises — Exercise Shakti (Army), Exercise Varuna (Navy), and Exercise Garuda (Air Force) — as well as several other engagements. This will be Catherine Vautrin's first visit to India since assuming office as the French Defence Minister on October 12, 2025. The India-France Annual Defence Dialogue is a structured ministerial-level bilateral meeting that reviews and guides defence and security cooperation. The 5th edition of the dialogue was held in France from October 11-13, 2023.

Belach, Uttar Pradesh:सोनभद्र. जनपद में एक हाई वोल्टेज ड्रामा देखने को मिला जब एक युवक हाई टेंशन टावर के टॉप पर जा बैठा, पुलिस की सूझबूझ से युवक शाम को सही सलामत नीचे उतरा, तब जाकर प्रशासन ने चैन की सांस ली। पुलिस ने युवक से लगाकार संवाद बनाए रखा। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, विश्राम कुमार (23) पुत्र जंगी प्रधान निवासी ग्राम मगरदहा थाना करमा, अपने ससुराल ग्राम छपका थाना रॉबर्ट्सगंज में पत्नी की विदाई हेतु आया था। पारिवारिक कारणों से विदाई न होने पर आहत होकर युवक पास स्थित 33 हजार के विद्युत टावर पर चढ़ गया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही क्षेत्राधिकारी नगर रणधीर मिश्रा पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस टीम ने भीड़ को नियंत्रित करते हुए धैर्य और संवेदनशीलता के साथ युवक से संवाद स्थापित किया। काफी समझाइश और भरोसा दिलाने के बाद युवक को सकुशल नीचे उतार लिया गया। परिजनों को सूचित कर दिया गया है तथा आवश्यक विधिक एवं शांति व्यवस्था संबंधी कार्रवाई की जा रही है। मौके पर स्थिति पूर्णतः सामान्य बताई जा रही है।

गोरखपुर में पुरानी रंजिश से युवक की गोली मारकर हत्या, प्रदर्शन

Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh:गोरखपुर में रविवार शाम उस वक्त सनसनी फैल गई जब पुरानी रंजिश को लेकर एक युवक को घर से बुलाकर ताबड़तोड़ गोली मारकर उसकी हत्या कर दी गई। वारदात में युवक की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। घटना से आक्रोशित परिजन और स्थानीय लोगों ने मेडिकल कॉलेज गेट के सामने सड़क जाम कर प्रदर्शन किया। पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर लोगों को समझाने का प्रयास किया और आरोपियों की तलाश शुरू कर दी है। चिलुआताल थाना क्षेत्र के तेनहुआ गांव में रविवार शाम 18 वर्षीय अरुण निषाद नामक युवक की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। घटना को लेकर थाने पर दी गई तहरीर के मुताबिक युवक विशाल, अरुण को उसके घर से बाहर बुलाकर ले गया था। जहां गांव में पुरानी रंजिश को लेकर विवाद होने के बाद एक युवक ने उस पर ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग कर दी। गोली लगने से अरुण गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। परिजन और स्थानीय लोग उसे तत्काल अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही इलाके में दहशत और आक्रोश फैल गया। घटना से नाराज परिजन और स्थानीय लोगों ने मेडिकल कॉलेज गेट के सामने सड़क पर विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू कर दिया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने आरोपितों की जल्द गिरफ्तारी और कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और प्रशासन के अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे और लोगों को समझाकर वहां से हटाने का प्रयास किया। पुलिस का कहना है कि हमलावरों की पहचान की जा रही है और आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाली जा रही है। अधिकारियों ने भरोसा दिलाया है कि आरोपितों को जल्द गिरफ्तार कर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

The 60-year-old Indian commentator on Sunday tweeted on X, "This 'no shaking hands' is such a silly thing that India has started. It's unbecoming of a nation like ours. Either play properly within the spirit of the game or don't play at all." Following the attack in Pahalgam in April last year and rising tensions between the two nations, the senior Indian men's cricket team had refrained from shaking hands with Pakistan players before or after matches throughout the Asia Cup 2025 trilogy. This 'no handshake' trend continued in subsequent encounters between India and Pakistan in various ICC and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments, including the Asia Cup Rising Stars and the Under-19 Cricket World Cup matches. Jaipur, Rajasthan:चौमूं जयपुर नींदड़ बचाओ किसान संघर्ष समिति की आमसभा विश्व भारती स्कूल ( साधु बाबा की ढाणी) में हुआ आयोजन नींदड़ के किसानों और कॉलोनीवासी रहे मौजूद निंदड़ आवासीय योजना पर समाधान की ओर बढ़े कदम आमसभा में किसानों-निवासियों ने दिखाई एकजुटता समिति ने 16 सूत्रीय मांगे रखी सरकार औऱ JDA के समक्ष 16 सूत्री मांगों में से कुछ मांगे पर JDA सहमति देने को तैयार लेकिन कुछ मांगो पर केबिनेट स्तर होगा मंथन किसानों में कहा- JDA लिखित में समझौता करें तो किसान जमीन देने को तयारी एंकर-जयपुर के हरमाड़ा निंदड़ क्षेत्र की आवासीय योजना को लेकर नींदड़ बचाओ किसान संघर्ष समिति के तत्वावधान में विशाल आमसभा का आयोजन किया गया। सभा में बड़ी संख्या में किसान और कॉलोनी निवासी शामिल हुए तथा चल रही वार्ताओं और विकास कार्यों की प्रगति पर विस्तृत जानकारी साझा की गई। कार्यक्रम में क्षेत्रवासियों ने शांतिपूर्ण संवाद के माध्यम से समाधान निकालने का संकल्प दोहराया। समूह समिति के अध्यक्ष एडवोकेट प्रभाती शर्मा,उपाध्यक्ष कैलाश बोहरा और बलराम मीणा ने बताया कि जून 2025 में जेडीसी के साथ हुई पहली बैठक से ही सकारात्मक माहौल बना और उसके बाद समिति ने जयपुर विकास प्राधिकरण (जेडीए) को 16 सूत्रीय मांगें लिखित रूप में सौंपीं, जिन पर विभाग ने सहमति जताई है। कई मांगों को आगे कैबिनेट स्तर पर भेजने की प्रक्रिया भी जारी है।किसानों ने कहा कि उन्हें अब समाधान की उम्मीद है, हालांकि वे लिखित आश्वासन मिलने और मौके पर कार्य प्रारंभ होने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि उपमुख्यमंत्री दिया कुमारी ने मामले को सकारात्मक रूप से लेते हुये अधिकारियों को किसानों के हित में कार्रवाई करने के निर्देश दिए हैं, जिससे क्षेत्रवासियों में भरोसा बढ़ा है।सभा में जेडीए की प्रोग्रेस रिपोर्ट भी प्रस्तुत की गई और बताया गया कि योजना से जुड़े काम चरणबद्ध तरीके से आगे बढ़ रहे हैं। उपस्थित लोगों ने आंदोलन को विकास और अधिकारों की दिशा में उठाया गया सकारात्मक कदम बताते हुए एकजुट रहने का संदेश दिया।

Obama made the remarks during an appearance on Brian Tyler Cohen's "No Lie" podcast published Saturday, where he addressed a controversial video posted earlier this month on President Trump's Truth Social account. The clip briefly showed Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama depicted as apes. Trump declined to apologise for the post despite widespread criticism from both parties. The White House attributed the content to a staffer's "erroneous" action and removed it shortly after. "I think it's important to recognise that the majority of the American people find this behaviour deeply troubling," Obama told the host, The Hill reported. Cohen raised concerns about the "de-evolution of discourse," citing the video and the administration's description of two US citizens killed during an immigration enforcement operation in Minneapolis as "domestic terrorists." Obama suggested that such language serves mainly as "distraction," while insisting that most citizens "still believe in decency, courtesy, [and] kindness." "There's this sort of clown show that's happening on social media and on television," he said. "And what is true is that there doesn't seem to be any shame about this among people who used to feel like you had to have some sort of decorum and a sense of propriety and respect for the office, right? So that's been lost," he continued. The former president rejected the idea that Republicans simply pursue what they desire, noting that the GOP has not "actually codified or institutionalised anything" beyond the so-called One Big, Beautiful Bill since taking control of Congress. Jasa, Bihar:मुकुल जायसवाल स्लग - नहर किनारे गड्ढे में डूबने से युवक की मौत, मुआवजे की मांग सकरौली गांव में पैर फिसलने से शिवनारायण साह की दुखद मौत, पोस्टमार्टम के बाद परिजनों ने प्रशासन से मुआवजा मांगा वियो - कैमूर जिले के मोहनिया थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत सकरौली गांव में रविवार की सुबह एक दुखद हादसा हुआ। 36 वर्षीय शिवनारायण साह नहर किनारे शौच के लिए गए थे। लौटते समय नहर के किनारे उनका पैर फिसल गया और पास में बने गड्ढे में भरा पानी में गिरकर वे डूब गए। ग्रामीणों ने सूचना मिलते ही उन्हें बाहर निकाला, लेकिन तब तक उनकी मौत हो चुकी थी। मृतक दया साह के पुत्र थे और गांव के ही निवासी थे। परिजनों ने बताया कि सुबह का समय होने के कारण आसपास कोई नहीं था, जिससे बचाव संभव नहीं हो सका। हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव का पंचनामा किया। शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भभुआ सदर अस्पताल लाया गया, जहां पोस्टमार्टम पूरा हुआ। परिजनों ने इस हादसे को लेकर गहरा दुख जताया है। उन्होंने जिला प्रशासन से मुआवजे की मांग की है, ताकि परिवार को आर्थिक सहायता मिल सके। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि नहर किनारे कई जगह गड्ढे बने हुए हैं, जो खतरनाक साबित हो रहे हैं। स्थानीय लोग प्रशासन से ऐसी जगहों को भरने या चेतावनी बोर्ड लगाने की मांग कर रहे हैं, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसे हादसे टाले जा सकें। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है। बाइट - परिजन

Khunti, Jharkhand:क्षेत्र - खूंटी। स्लग - महाशिवरात्रि पर बाबा आम्रेश्वर धाम पहुंचे अधिकारी गण। महाशिवरात्रि के मौके पर बाबा आम्रेश्वर धाम में स्वयंभू महादेव की पूजा अर्चना करने भारी संख्या में श्रद्धालु भक्तजन पूजा करने उमड़ पड़े हैं। इस मौके पर झारखण्ड के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक ए. विजयालक्ष्मी और पुलिस महानिरीक्षक आईजी क्रांति कुमार गड़िदेशी पूजा करने सपरिवार बाबा आम्रेश्वर धाम पहुंचे। मौके पर बाबा आम्रेश्वर धाम प्रबंध समिति के द्वारा दोनों को अंगवस्त्र देकर सम्मानित किया। वहीं बाबा भोलेनाथ स्वयंभू महादेव के गर्भगृह में जाकर उन्होंने पूजा अर्चना की। वहीं झारखंड के अलावे बिहार, बंगाल, उड़िसा, छत्तीसगढ़ आदि अनेक राज्यों से लोग बाबा आम्रेश्वर धाम आकर पूजा अर्चना किये。
