Anchor:In view of Eid-ul-Fitr, also known as Ramzan Eid, falling tomorrow on March 21, people in Bhaderwah and its adjoining areas thronged markets in large numbers despite intermittent rainfall on the eve of Arfa—the day before EID and also offered prayers of Last Friday known as Jumma-tul-Vida. It is notable that people get chance of observing two Juma-tul-Vida this Ramadan. VO:Despite showers, the festive spirit remained high as markets across Bhaderwah witnessed heavy footfall, with people coming out in large numbers for last-minute Eid shopping. The district administration also carried out market inspections to ensure that quality and hygienic products were being sold to consumers at fixed rates. VO:On the occasion of Arfa, people were seen actively purchasing sweets, bakery items, cold drinks, dry fruits, mutton, chicken, and other essential items from the market. VO:Meanwhile, special congregational prayers were offered on the occasion of Juma-tul-Vida — the last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan — in mosques across the Chenab Valley. ADC Bhaderwah – Sunil Kumar Bhutiyal, “We have already held a series of meetings with allied departments, Beopar Mandal, and Imams of different mosques to ensure smooth celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. Availability of essential commodities at fixed rates has been ensured across Additional District Bhaderwah.” President Anjuman-e-Islamia Bhaderwah Riaz Ahmed Najar said that all arrangements has been done and we are fortunate enough to get two Jumma-tul-Vida this Ramadan. He prayed that may almighty accepts all prayers and charity. He informed that if weather improves, the Eid Nimaz will be offered in Markazi Eid Bhaderwah at 10:00 AM, otherwise in case of rain, the nimaz will be held in respective Jamia Masjids of Bhaderwah. With administrative arrangements in place and festive enthusiasm undeterred by rain, Bhaderwah is all set to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with joy and devotion.
