क Kashmir में MMU उलेमा सम्मेलन: सामाजिक चुनौतियों और Ummah एकता पर दो प्रस्ताव
Srinagar, Uttarakhand:MMU Ulema Meet Held in Srinagar; Two Resolutions Adopted on Social Challenges , environmental responsibility and Unity of the Ummah Coordinated Friday-sermon campaign, district-level engagement more than 70 Ulema and Mashaikh participate After a gap of more than two years, permission was granted by the authorities for the Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema Jammu & Kashmir (MMU) to hold a major Ulema conference in Srinagar. The One-Day Ulema Meet and Seerat Conference, held today under the chairmanship of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, brought together prominent Ulema and religious scholars from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to deliberate upon the religious, moral and societal challenges confronting people here. Those who attended came from different districts of Kashmir, while Ulema from Jammu, Poonch, Rajouri, Kargil and Doda specially travelled to Srinagar to participate in the conference, reflecting the need for greater interaction and coordinated action among religious scholars and institutions across the region. The conference concluded with the adoption of two broad resolutions, one dealing with contemporary social challenges and the practical role of Ulema, mosques and madrasas, and the other focusing on unity within the Muslim Ummah, sectarian harmony and respect for differences of Maslak. The first resolution expressed serious concern over drug and substance abuse, suicides and self-harm, mental and emotional distress among youth, irresponsible use of social media, weakening family bonds, moral decline and the increasing disconnect of young people from religious and community institutions, as well as environmental degradation and its serious consequences. Particular concern was expressed over the growing incidence of suicide and self-harm, especially among young people. The conference stressed that condemnation or silence around the issue will not address the problem. Ulema, mosques and madrasas can play an important preventive and supportive role by creating safe spaces where young people and families are able to speak uninhibitedly about personal emotional distress, loneliness, anxiety, family pressures and other reasons, without fear of stigma. It was emphasised that Imams and Ulema should sensitise communities about recognising signs of distress, encourage families to respond with compassion, and guide those in need towards appropriate professional counselling and mental-health support. Mosques and madrasas can increasingly serve as accessible centres of guidance, counselling and referral, while recognising that serious mental-health concerns require trained professional care. The conference resolved that these issues should not remain confined to occasional seminars or speeches. It was decided that on designated Fridays, one common social issue would be taken up in Friday sermons across participating mosques, so that Ulema throughout Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh speak collectively to highlight an issue requiring urgent societal attention and reform. The MMU will also endeavour to hold regular meetings, preferably every month, in different districts and areas of Jammu and Kashmir, involving local Ulema, Imams, mosques and madrasas. Such meetings will provide an opportunity to understand local concerns and develop practical responses suited to each area. The conference underlined that mosques and madrasas must increasingly become centres of guidance, counselling, youth engagement, family support and community welfare, alongside their primary religious and educational responsibilities. Their close connection and proximity to people’s homes gives them the ability to identify problems early and help families seek appropriate support. On the issue of drug addiction, the conference stressed that all forms of addiction are harmful and must be addressed through a consistent social policy. While Ulema and civil society are being asked to work against narcotics and substance abuse, the conference expressed serious concern about the simultaneous normalisation of alcohol and its increasing availability. The Ulema said that a campaign against drug addiction cannot yield the desired results if, at the same time, new liquor licences are issued and alcohol is promoted or expanded in the name of tourism. Such contradictory policies, they said, undermine efforts to protect young people from addiction. The conference called upon the government to reconsider this approach and to stop further promotion and expansion of alcohol availability. The conference also recommended that Friday sermons and mosque-based programmes should sensitise people about their responsibility towards the environment. Ulema can play an important role in discouraging the use of plastic and polythene, littering and dumping garbage into rivers, lakes and other water bodies, and in creating awareness against encroachment and destruction of wetlands. Concern was expressed over the condition, encroachments and protection of Dal Lake, Wular Lake, Nigeen Lake, wetlands and other water bodies, with the conference stressing that cleanliness, conservation of nature and protection of shared natural resources is also a moral and religious responsibility of being a Muslim. The second resolution focused on unity within the Muslim Ummah and the responsibility of Ulema in maintaining mutual respect despite differences of Maslak and interpretation. The conference acknowledged that different schools of thought and legitimate religious differences have existed within the Ummah and will continue to exist. Such differences, however, must never be allowed to become a source of hatred, hostility or division. The Ulema unanimously emphasised that the Mimbar of the mosque is an Amanah — a sacred trust — and must never be used to promote sectarianism, ridicule another Maslak, spread hatred or deepen divisions among Muslims. The conference called upon Ulema of different schools of thought to promote the Islamic ethics of disagreement, mutual respect, dialogue and brotherhood, and to focus religious discourse on the larger moral, spiritual and social responsibilities that Muslims share. It was also felt that greater interaction among Ulema from different regions and schools of thought is essential. The proposed district-level meetings will therefore also seek to strengthen communication, mutual understanding and cooperation among religious scholars, mosques and madrasas across Jammu and Kashmir. The participants observed that at a time when society faces serious challenges, the role of Ulema and religious institutions cannot remain confined to ritual matters alone. They must remain closely connected with the everyday concerns of people, particularly the anxieties, pressures and aspirations of the younger generation. The MMU said that the conference should mark the beginning of a sustained process and not end with the adoption of resolutions alone. The aim will be to translate the suggestions and decisions into practical grassroots engagement, coordinated Friday sermons, district-level interaction, counselling and community awareness programmes across Jammu and Kashmir. More than 70 Ulema and Mashaikh participated in the event. Prominent among those who attended were Moulana Rehmat-ullah Mir Qasmi, Mufti Azam Nasir ul Islam Farooqi, Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi, Mufti Mohammad Yaqoob Baba Madani, Moulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, Moulana Showkat Hussain Keng, Mufti Enayat Ullah Jammu, Sheikh Mehboob Ali Wajdani, Kargil, Mufti Abdul Rashid Miftahi, Pir Rehmatullah Sahib, Moulana Syed Tayyub, Mufti Syed Sharief Ul Haq Bukhari, Mufti Ajaz ul Hassan Banday, Mufti Zia ul Haq Nazmi, Mufti Pirzada Reyaz Ahmad, Moulana Adnan Nadwi, Sibt Mohammad Shabir Qumi, Moulana Ghulam Rasool Noori, Moulana Ali Akbar, Moulana Syed Shah Waris Shah Bukhari and Pir Iftikhar Ahmad Kamli, among others.0

Bhaderwah, Exclusive Ground Zero Report on Security forces intensify CASO in higher reaches of Bhaderwah, Jammu and Kashmir, after the remains of a suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist were recovered along with a night-enabled US-made M4 carbine. The remains and weapon were recovered on September 12 from the Divshetar area of the Seojdhar forest, a strategic mountainous belt connecting Bhaderwah with parts of Udhampur and Kathua. Following the recovery, joint teams of the Army, JK Police, SOG, CRPF and other security agencies intensified search and combing operations across forested and high-altitude areas. The objective is to sanitize the area and ensure that no other terrorists are hiding in the dense terrain, particularly along transit routes and higher reaches. Officials believe the remains indicate the militant sustained injuries during an earlier gunfight with security forces around five to six months ago and may have died hiding in the forest. Based on the recovery and ground inputs, security forces have expanded area-domination and search operations across upper sectors of the Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban region to detect militant movement, hideouts or new footprints. Security agencies remain on heightened alert as extensive searches continue in the difficult, densely forested terrain.0

हरदी डाली में शव घर के आंगन में दफन, ग्रामीणों में भारी विरोध
Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh:महराजगंज जिले से एक हैरान करने वाला मामला सामने आया है जहाँ सोनौली कोतवाली क्षेत्र के हरदी डाली गांव में एक व्यक्ति ने अपनी पत्नी की मौत के बाद उसका शव घर के आँगन में ही दफना कर समाधि बनवा दिया है। बताया जा रहा है कि महिला की मौत हार्ट अटैक से हुई थी लेकिन घर के अंदर शव दफन किए जाने की जानकारी सामने आते ही ग्रामीणों में हड़कंप मच गया और लोगों ने इसका विरोध भी किया। विरोध होने पर पति ने बताया कि वह कबीर पंथ धर्म को मनाने वाले है और जो संत रहता है उसका शव घर मे दफना कर समाधि बनवाने की मान्यता है। अब पूरे मामले ने कई गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं—क्या घर के अंदर शव दफनाने की अनुमति है? वही पुलिस अब इस पूरे मामले की जांच में जुट गई है।0

सन्तकबीरनगर: पुरानी रंजिश में युवक की चाकू मारकर हत्या
Uska Khurd, Uttar Pradesh:सन्तकबीरनगर में बेलहर थाना क्षेत्र के जंगल दशहर गांव में पुरानी रंजिश में एक युवक की चाकू मार कर हत्या कर दी गई। बीच-बचाव करने पहुँची उसकी पत्नी को भी आरोपित ने घायल कर दिया। घटना के बाद गांव में तनाव की स्थिति को देखते हुए पुलिस फोर्स तैनात कर दी गई। शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज पुलिस आरोपी की तलाश में जुटी है। VO - बेलहर थाना क्षेत्र के जंगल दशहर गांव निवासी 35 वर्षीय राजू कन्नौजिया मुंबई में रहकर मजदूरी करता था। मंगलवार सुबह ही वह घर लौटा था। गांव के ही एक पड़ोसी से उसका पुराना विवाद चल रहा था। बीती देर रात दोनों आमने-सामने आ गए। विवाद बढ़ने पर पड़ोसी युवक ने चाकू निकालकर राजू पर हमला कर दिया। चीख-पुकार सुनकर राजू की पत्नी मंजू मौके पर पहुंची तो आरोपित ने उसे धक्का देकर घायल कर दिया। गंभीर रूप से घायल राजू को ग्रामिण सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र मेहदावल लेकर पहुंचे, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही बेलहर कला पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। बाद में अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक सुशील कुमार सिंह ने भी अस्पताल पहुंचकर घटना की जानकारी ली। गांव में पुलिस फोर्स तैनात कर दी गई। पुलिस ने शव पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है। आरोपी की तलाश में पुलिस टीमें लगाई गई हैं।0

कतर्नियाघाट में तेंदुआ: एम्बुलेंस के सामने दो मिनट तक चलता वीडियो वायरल
Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh:बहराइच.कतर्नियाघाट वन्यजीव प्रभाग की रेंज में रात के अंधेरे में एक तेंदुए की चहलकदमी का वीडियो कैमरे में कैद हो गया,मामला बिछिया-गिरजापुरी मार्ग का है,जहाँ एक तेंदुआ रात में सड़क पर टहलता दिखाई दिया। इस दौरान अपनी मस्ती में चल रहा तेंदुआ करीब दो मिनट तक 108 एंबुलेंस के आगे-आगे चलता रहा।जिसका वीडियो सोशल मीडिया में वायरल हो रहा है,जानकारी के अनुसार,जंगल के रास्ते जा रही एक एंबुलेंस बिछिया रेलवे स्टेशन से मरीज को लेने गयी थी। वापस सुजौली पीएचसी लौटते समय एंबুলेंस के सामने अचानक तेंदुआ आ गया। एंबुलेंस के सामने अचानक तेंदुए को देखकर एंबुलेंस के पायलट व स्टाफ सहम गए और धीरे-धीरे वाहन चलाते रहे। करीब दो मिनट बाद तेंदुआ जंगल की ओर चला गया, जिसके बाद एंबुलेंस आगे बढ़ सकी।0

डिंडोरी के सांदीपनी विद्यालय: बच्चों को पाँच किलोमीटर पैदल यात्रा, बस सुविधा अभी नहीं
Dindori, Madhya Pradesh:डिंडोरी जिले में करोड़ों की लागत से बनाए गए सांदीपनी विद्यालयों में पढ़ने वाले ग्रामीण बच्चों की परेशानी अब भी बरकरार है। गांव से स्कूल तक पहुंचने के लिए बच्चों को कई किलोमीटर का सफर पैदल तय करना पड़ रहा है। ग्रामीण इलाकों के कई बच्चे करीब पांच किलोमीटर तक पैदल चलकर सांदीपनी विद्यालय पहुंच रहे हैं, जबकि इन बच्चों को स्कूल तक लाने-ले जाने के लिए स्कूल बसों की सुविधा अब तक शुरू नहीं हो सकी है। हैरानी की बात ये है कि स्कूल प्रबंधन के मुताबिक करीब तीन साल पहले ही स्कूल बसों के संचालन के लिए रूट चार्ट तैयार कराया जा चुका था, लेकिन इसके बावजूद बसें अब तक सड़कों पर नहीं उतर सकीं। यानी स्कूल की इमारतें तो बन गईं, लेकिन बच्चों के स्कूल तक पहुंचने का रास्ता और सफर आज भी अधूरा है। मामले में कलेक्टर का कहना है कि स्कूल बसों की सुविधा के लिए शासन को पत्र भेजा गया है और जल्द ही बच्चों को बस सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।0

Agra, Uttar Pradesh:केंद्र और प्रदेश की सरकारें स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को बेहतर बनाने को करोड़ो रूपये खर्च कर रही हैं लेकिन आगरा में योजनाओं को पलीता लगाया जा रहा है। आगरा के जिला अस्पताल में जिस सेंट्रल लैब का उद्घाटन खुद प्रदेश के उप मुख्यमंत्री ने किया वह उद्घाटन के बाद से ताले में कैद है और मरीजों को निजी लैब की ओर रुख करना पड़ रहा है। दरअसल केंद्र सरकार की अभीम योजना के तहत 24 सितंबर 2025 को उत्तर प्रदेश के उप मुख्यमंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक ने आगरा के जिला अस्पताल में सेंट्रल लैब का उद्घाटन किया था। लैब का उद्घाटन तो हुआ लेकिन लैब की फोर्सिलिंग खराब होने की वजह से पिछले एक साल से लैब बंद पड़ी है, और ताला लटका हुआ है। जिसके चलते मरीजों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। जिला अस्पताल में बनी सेंट्रल लैब में लगभग 150 से ज्यादा जांच के लिए हाईटेक मशीनरी लगाई गई थी लेकिन लैब बंद होने के चलते मरीजों की परेशानी हो रही है। जिला अस्पताल की CMS डॉ सुनीता भदौरिया का कहना है कि लैब का इन्फ्राटेक्चर और फोर्सिलिंग खराब होने के चलते इसको बंद किया गया था। जिसके बाद करीब 150 जांचों में 84 जांचों को जिला अस्पताल में ही दूसरी लैब पर कराया जा रहा है जबकि अन्य जांचों को बाहर से कराना मजबूरी बन गई है, कार्यदाई संस्था UPCLDF और शासन को कई बार अवगत कराया, 12 से ज्यादा बार पत्र भी लिखा गया है, लेकिन उसके बावजूद भी कार्यदाई संस्था ने पत्र तक का जवाब नहीं दिया, इसके साथ ही शासन में भी पत्र भेजा था। अगर लैब को सही करने के साथ ही जल्द ही इन्फ्राटेक्चर ठीक नहीं किया गया, तो वह खुद लखनऊ जाकर शासन को अवगत कराएंगी, और जल्द ही लैब को चालू करवाया जाएगा। बाइट डॉ सुनीता भदौरिया, CMS, जिला अस्पताल, आगरा।0
