Bijbehara:- Tasadooq Hussain Veeri, senior leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and DDC Block Bijbehara, recently visited the Jublipora Fruit Market to assess the damage caused by the current situation. He emphasized that with nearly half of this season’s apple produce still awaiting shipment, the local fruit sector is facing severe challenges. Restoring road connectivity, even partially, would provide much-needed relief to farmers and traders. Veeri’s appeal highlights the critical role of the fruit industry in Bijbehara’s local economy and its contribution to the larger economic framework of Kashmir.
