After injuring several persons in the Pinjura area, a leopard was finally captured following a day-long, coordinated operation by the Wildlife Department with the support of Shopian Police and the Revenue Department. The successful rescue operation brought a sense of relief among locals who had been living in fear due to the animal’s movement in the area.
