Unknown Miscreants Cut Down High-Density Apple Orchard in Kunzer, Losses Worth Lakhs In a shocking incident reported from Gonipora area of Kunzer in Baramulla district, unknown miscreants allegedly cut down a high-density apple orchard during the intervening night, causing massive financial losses to the owner. According to reports, the orchard belongs to Habibullah Reshi, son of Gh Ahmad Reshi, who discovered in the morning that nearly 100 high-density apple trees had been deliberately cut down. The orchard, spread over approximately one kanal of land, was fully cultivated with high-density apple plants. The act of vandalism has resulted in losses estimated to be worth lakhs of rupees, dealing a severe blow to the livelihood of the orchard owner. Locals of the area and the affected family have strongly condemned the incident and expressed deep concern over such acts. They have appealed to the district administration and police authorities to take immediate and strict action against those involved.
