ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਜੀਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਮਾਂ ਪੁੱਤ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਟੱਕਰ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਮੌਤ ਲੜਕੇ ਦੀ ਟੁੱਟੀ ਲੱਤ ਤੇ ਬਾਂਹ ਐਂਕਰ) ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਹਲਕਾ ਜੀਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਸੜਕੀ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਦੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਟੱਕਰ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਲੱਤ ਤੇ ਬਾਂਹ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਖਮੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

In a heartfelt tribute, both daughters of Haryana-cadre IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar performed the 'mukhagni' to his mortal remains during his last rites at the Sector 25 crematorium. The solemn ceremony was attended by Haryana DGP OP Singh, along with other dignitaries, honouring the legacy of the esteemed officer. Puran Kumar allegedly shot himself at his residence in Chandigarh on October 7. In the 'final note' he left behind, he accused eight senior cops, including Haryana director general of police Shatrujeet Kapur, of 'blatant caste-based discrimination, targeted mental harassment, public humiliation and atrocities.' Earlier, PGIMER, Chandigarh, confirmed that the post-mortem examination of Haryana-cadre IPS officer Y Puran Kumar was conducted on Wednesday, by a duly constituted Medical Board at PGIMER, Chandigarh, following all due procedures. The postmortem of late IPS officer Y Puran Kumar was conducted nine days after his death. The process was initiated only after his wife, IAS officer Amneet P Kumar, gave her formal consent and identified the body. Officials said the delay in conducting the postmortem was due to the absence of family consent, which was finally granted. On October 7, senior IPS officer was found dead at his private residence in Chandigarh with a gunshot wound. His service weapon, an eight-page final note, and a will were recovered from the scene. Senior IAS officer Amneet P Kumar, the wife of the late IPS officer, had made some serious accusations against Haryana Director General of Police Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor and Superintendent of Police Rohtak Narendra Bijarnia. She is demanding a registration of an FIR against the two of them. Kumar’s wife has filed a written complaint to the police, where she stated that her husband had been facing caste-based discrimination, mental harassment, and humiliation for a long time. She also claimed that before his death, her husband had left behind a suicide note. Following the FIR, Chandigarh Police formed a six-member SIT to probe the matter. The team, led by senior police officials, has been carrying out a detailed investigation that includes visits to Rohtak, examination of the officer's service and personal records, and coordination with the Haryana Government to obtain crucial documents. The late officer’s laptop are yet to be handed over to the police. The laptop, considered a key piece of digital evidence, is expected to provide insight into the officer’s final days and possible communication records before his death. The outcome of the postmortem and subsequent forensic examination is expected to play a decisive role in determining the actual sequence of events. The case has drawn significant public attention, with senior bureaucrats and police officials across Haryana and Chandigarh expressing grief and calling for a fair and transparent investigation into the circumstances leading to the officer's death.

The US Chamber of Commerce has filed a legal challenge to the administration's $100,000 fee on H-1B visa petitions, an official release by the Chamber stated. The Chamber's litigation argues that the new fee is unlawful because it overrides provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act that govern the H-1B program, including the requirement that fees be based on the costs incurred by the government in processing visas. In announcing today's action, Neil Bradley, Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer at the US Chamber, issued the following statement: 'The new $100,000 visa fee will make it cost-prohibitive for US employers, especially start-ups and small and midsize businesses, to utilize the H-1B program, which was created by Congress expressly to ensure that American businesses of all sizes can access the global talent they need to grow their operations here in the US,' Bradley said. 'President Trump has embarked on an ambitious agenda of securing permanent pro-growth tax reforms, unleashing American energy, and unraveling the overregulation that has stifled growth. लुधियाना के डरेसी ग्राउंड के पास पार्किंग में कारों में आग, दमकलकर्मी ने पाया काबू

Ludhiana, Punjab:लुधियाना के दरेसी ग्राउंड के पास शाम उस वक्त अफरा-तफरी मच गई जब एस. एन. जैन स्कूल के सामने पार्किंग में खड़ी कार से अचानक धुआं उठने लगा। कुछ ही देर में लपटें इतनी तेज़ हो गईं कि वहां खड़ी दो कारें एक आल्टो और एक स्विफ्ट देखते ही देखते आग की लपटों में घिर गईं। आस-पास मौजूद लोग कुछ समझ पाते इससे पहले दोनों गाड़ियाँ पूरी तरह जलकर राख हो गईं। लोगों ने बताया की शाम 6 बजे की यहाँ घटना है जिस के बाद तुरंत फायर ब्रिगेड और पुलिस को सूचना दी। मौके पर हेडक्वार्टर और सुंदर नगर से दमकल की दो गाड़ियाँ पहुंचीं और कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया।हालांकि राहत की बात यह रही कि हादसे में कोई जनहानि नहीं हुई ।स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है लोग ने यहाँ पार्किंग एरिया बनाया हुआ है । और यहाँ कूड़ा भी इकठा होता रहता है । लगता है की किसी शरारती ने कूड़े को आग लगदी जो वहाँ खड़ी गाड़ियो तक पहुँच गई ऐसी घटनाएं पहले भी हो चुकी हैं। लेकिन अभी कोई असल कारण सामने नहीं आया ।

हिमाचल प्रदेश: विधानसभा वेतन बढ़ोतरी, सीएम 3.40 लाख और विधायक 2.97 लाख मासिक

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh:दीपावली से पहले हिमाचल प्रदेश के विधानसभा सदस्यों के वेतन में बढ़ोतरी कर दी गई है. हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री, उप मुख्यमंत्री सहित विधानसभा अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष और विधायक के वेतन में बढ़ोतरी लागू हो गई है. राज्यपाल की मंजूरी के बाद इसे गजट में नोटिफाई कर दिया गया है. नए वेतन स्ट्रक्चर के अनुसार सीएम का वेतन अब 3.40 लाख रुपए व एमएलए का वेतन 2.97 लाख रुपए हो गया है. पहले विधायक का वेतन 2.10 लाख के करीब था. नए स्ट्रक्चर के अनुसार अब विधायक का बेसिक वेतन 55 हजार रुपए से बढ़ाकर 85 हजार रुपए किया गया है. कार्यालय भत्ता 30 हजार मासिक हुआ करता था, जो अब 90 हजार मासिक होगा. मुख्यमंत्री को अभी तक 2.65 लाख रुपए मासिक के करीब वेतन व भत्ते मिलते थे. अब ये बढ़कर 3.40 लाख रुपए हो जाएगा. बड़ी बात ये है कि सीएम का सत्कार भत्ता अब डेढ़ लाख रुपए मासिक होगा. ये पहले 95 हजार रुपए था. विधानसभा स्पीकर व कैबिनेट मंत्रियों का वेतन भत्तों को मिलाकर अब करीब 3.30 लाख रुपए होगा.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a senior Indian Police Service officer of the 2009 batch, presently posted as DIG, Ropar Range, Punjab, along with a private individual, in a bribery case involving ₹8 lakh. The officer was also allegedly seeking recurring monthly illegal payments from the complainant. A case was registered by CBI on 16.10.2025 against the accused public servant and his associate on allegations that the officer demanded a bribe of ₹8 lakh and monthly illegal gratification through his middleman for “settling” an FIR registered against the complainant and ensuring that no further coercive or adverse police action was taken against his business. CBI laid a trap and caught the private individual red-handed while demanding and accepting ₹8 lakh from the complainant on behalf of the DIG at Sector 21, Chandigarh. During the trap proceedings, a controlled call was made to the public servant, during which he acknowledged the payment and directed the middleman and complainant to come to his office. Subsequently, the CBI team apprehended the public servant from his office and arrested both accused in Chandigarh. During searches at various premises linked to the public servant in Punjab and Chandigarh, the CBI recovered substantial cash and incriminating material, including: Cash of approximately ₹5 crore (and counting) Jewellery weighing about 1.5 kg Documents pertaining to immovable properties and assets in Punjab Keys of two luxury vehicles (Mercedes and Audi) 22 luxury watches Locker Keys 40 litre of imported liquor bottles Fire Arms-1 double barrel gun, 1 Pistol, 1 Revolver, 1 Airgun, along with ammunition Recovery from the middleman:- Cash of ₹21 lakh Both accused have been arrested and will be produced before the designated court on 17.10.2025. Searches and further investigation are continuing.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting in Surrey Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an early morning shooting into a business in the Newton area of Surrey. On October 16, 2025, at approximately 3:43 am police responded to reports of a shooting in the 8400 block of 120 Street, Surrey. SPS Frontline members located a business that had been damaged by numerous bullets. It was also quickly determined that there were staff on site at the time of the shooting but fortunately nobody was injured. SPS Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST) and the Integrated Forensic Identification Service (IFIS) will be attending the scene and assisting with the investigation.

Chandigarh, Chandigarh:गोबिंदगढ़, जिला फतेहगढ़ साहिब निवासी श्री आकाश बत्ता से दिनांक 11.10.2025 को एक लिखित शिकायत प्राप्त हुई, जिसमें आरोप लगाया गया कि श्री हरचरण सिंह भुल्लर, डीआईजी, रोपड़ रेंज, पंजाब पुलिस ने अपने बिचौलिए किरशनु के माध्यम से शिकायतकर्ता के विरुद्ध दर्ज एफआईआर संख्या 155/2023, थाना सरहिंद, के निपटारे और यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि उसके स्क्रैप व्यवसाय के विरुद्ध कोई और बलपूर्वक या प्रतिकूल पुलिस कार्रवाई न की जाए, अवैध रिश्वत की मांग की थी। शिकायतकर्ता ने आगे आरोप लगाया कि डीआईजी भुल्लर आवर्ती मासिक भुगतान, जिसे "सेवा-पानी" कहा जाता है, की मांग कर रहे थे और भुगतान न करने पर उन्हें व्यवसाय से संबंधित आपराधिक मामलों में झूठे फंसाने की धमकी दे रहे थे। उक्त शिकायत को सत्यापन के लिए श्री सचिन सिंह, उप निरीक्षक, सीबीआई, एसीबी, चंडीगढ़ को भेजा गया था। सत्यापन से पता चला कि पंजाब पुलिस के रोपड़ रेंज के डीआईजी हरचरण सिंह भुल्लर ने अपने सहयोगी/बिचौलिए किरशानु के माध्यम से शिकायतकर्ता आकाश बत्ता से एफआईआर संख्या 155/2023 को "निपटाने" और उसके स्क्रैप व्यवसाय के खिलाफ आगे कोई पुलिस कार्रवाई न होने देने के लिए 78 लाख रुपये की मांग की। 11.10.2025 को चंडीगढ़ के सेक्टर 9-डी मार्केट में सत्यापन के दौरान, बिचौलिए किरशनु द्वारा लोक सेवक को की गई एक रिकॉर्डेड व्हाट्सएप कॉल में डीआईजी भुल्लर को यह निर्देश देते हुए सुना जा सकता है, "8 फड़ने ने 8" और फिर "जिन्ना देंदा नाल नाल फड़ी चल, ओहनु केहदे 8 कर दे पूरा," जिसमें स्पष्ट रूप से अपने बिचौलिये को शिकायतकर्ता से 78 लाख रुपये वसूलने का निर्देश दिया गया था। बिचौलिए किरशनु ने बाद में शिकायतकर्ता से कहा, "एड्डा कहना पता की है... कहना है अगस्त दा नी आया, सितंबर दा नी आया," जिसका आशय डीआईजी श्री एच.एस. भुल्लर द्वारा मासिक रिश्वत की मांग करना था। बातचीत ने शिकायतकर्ता के बयान की पुष्टि की, और कॉल में इस्तेमाल किए गए मोबाइल नंबर 78377-73777 की पुष्टि डीआईजी भुल्लर के नाम पंजीकृत होने के रूप में की गई। सत्यापन ने अवैध रिश्वत की स्पष्ट मांग और समझौते की निर्णायक पुष्टि की।दिनांक 11.10.2025 की शिकायत और उसके बाद दिनांक 15.10.2025 की सत्यापन रिपोर्ट प्रथम दृष्टया भारतीय न्याय अधिनियम, 2023 की धारा 61(2) और भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम, 1988 (जैसा कि 2018 में संशोधित) की धारा 7 और 7ए के तहत दंडनीय अपराधों के घटित होने का खुलासा करती है। श्री एच.एस. भुल्लर, डीआईजी, रोपड़ रेंज, पंजाब पुलिस, और उनके सहयोगी/बिचौलिए श्री. किरशनु (निजी व्यक्ति) के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया गया है। यह पता चला है कि उक्त अधिकारी ने अपने सहयोगी के माध्यम से शिकायतकर्ता श्री आकाश बत्ता से €8,00,000/- की अवैध रिश्वत मांगी और स्वीकार करने पर सहमति जताई, यह रिश्वत उनके खिलाफ लंबित एफआईआर संख्या 155/2023 के निपटारे के लिए और पुलिस के हस्तक्षेप के बिना उनके स्क्रैप डीलिंग व्यवसाय को जारी रखने की अनुमति देने के लिए मासिक भुगतान के रूप में दी गई। तदनुसार, एक नियमित मामला दर्ज किया गया है और जांच के लिए श्री सोनल मिश्रा, निरीक्षक, सीबीआई, एसीबी, चंडीगढ़ को सौंपा गया है।

Firozpur, Punjab:फिरोजपुर कैंट में तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने पूर्व पार्षद को कुचला मौत के साथ हुई गुरुहरसहाय का रहने वाला था पूर्व पार्षद सिकंदर सिंह गुरुहरसहाय से अपने निजी काम के लिए मोटरसाइकल पर सवार होकर आया था फिरोजपुर फिरोजपुर छावनी में आज एक तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने पूर्व पार्षद सिकंदर सिंह को कुचल दिया जिसकी मौत हो गई मिली जानकारी के अनुसार पूर्व पार्षद अपने निजी काम के लिए मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार होकर कस्बा गुरुहरसहाय से फिरोजपुर छावनी में आया था उसके पीछे से आ रहे ट्रक ने इसको पीछे से टक्कर मार दी इसके बाद मोटरसाइकिल सवार पूर्व पार्षद सिकंदर सिंह ट्रक के नीचे आ गया और ट्रक ने उसको कुचल दिया जिसकी मौत हो गई
