Zanskar,: -The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Zanskar, Omkar Rajendra Gundage (IAS), convened a meeting with all Lambardars of the subdivision at the Tourist Dak Bungalow, Padum, to review winter preparedness and understand village-level issues. During the meeting, Lambardars from various villages raised concerns related to basic services, local infrastructure and winter logistics. The SDM listened to all submissions and directed the concerned officers to resolve issues within their jurisdiction. He further assured the Lambardars that pending matters would be taken up with higher authorities and addressed in a time-bound manner. Officials present in the meeting included the Executive Engineer, R&B Zanskar, Executive Engineer, PHE Zanskar, Block Development Officer, Zanskar, Naib Tehsildar, Zanskar, the President of the Lambardar Association, and Lambardars representing different villages.
