Kupwara, Nov 21 — Residents of the border area in Machil Valley have extended their heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Lolab MLA Kaiser Jamsheed Lone, and the entire Machil administration for their continued support. Locals said that this year, several key block development works were completed for the first time, marking a significant step toward improving basic infrastructure in the region. They expressed appreciation to all departments involved for ensuring timely execution of these works. However, with winter approaching, residents have appealed to the authorities to strengthen health facilities to tackle winter-related challenges and to ensure continuous road connectivity between Kupwara and Machil for the smooth movement of people and essential services. The people of Machil said they remain hopeful that the administration will continue its proactive approach in addressing their concerns during the harsh winter months.
