Ganderbal,

As the annual Amarnath Yatra progresses, Shri Amarnath Sewa Sansthan from Aminabad, Lucknow, has once again set up its langar (community kitchen) at the Manigam base camp in Ganderbal. This marks the 33rd consecutive year of their service to pilgrims undertaking the sacred journey. Women volunteers continue to play a vital and visible role in the smooth operation of the langar, reflecting the spirit of dedication and community service the Sansthan upholds. The organizers shared that they are offering a wide variety of hygienic and nutritious meals to devotees arriving at the base camp. “We are committed to ensuring that every yatri receives proper food and care. It’s a tradition of service we’ve proudly maintained for over three decades,” said one of the members. Appreciating the arrangements, the organizers also acknowledged the strong security measures put in place by the administration, especially for the safety and comfort of women. One of the women volunteers at the langar shared her experience, saying, “We are here to serve the devotees with dedication and devotion. It is an honor to be part of this spiritual journey. Everyone should visit the holy Amarnath Shrine at least once in their life.” Byte1:-Surbhi_Amarnath Volunteer. Byte2:- Pratiksha _Amarnath Volunteer. Byte3:- Anju _Amarnath Volunteer.
