According to preliminary information received from Nizamabad Police, At the Nizamabad Government Hospital, the accused Riyaz once again attempted to attack the police and escape from custody. Police made serious efforts to apprehend him, but during the struggle, Riyaz snatched a weapon from one of the officers and attempted to open fire on the police team. In retaliation, the police acted to neutralize him, during which Riyaz was shot and killed. Yesterday, Riyaz had attacked a civilian named Asif, who had helped police with information leading to his arrest, critically injuring him. Asif is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad. Today, while being guarded, Riyaz again tried to snatch a firearm and attack the officers, attempting to flee. During the ensuing encounter, Riyaz was killed.
