A Youth Convention was organized at Mir Bazar in District Anantnag by the National Conference, witnessing the participation of a large number of young people from the area. National Conference MLA from the West constituency, Advocate Abdul Majeed Larmi, expressed serious concern over the increasing incidents of harassment of Kashmiris in different parts of the country. He termed such incidents as alarming and said they pose a grave threat to democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of law. The MLA emphasized that the safety and dignity of Kashmiris must be ensured and demanded strict punishment for those found involved in such acts. He urged the authorities to take immediate steps to prevent such incidents and protect the rights of citizens.
