Ganderbal, Feb 03: On the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Barat, night-long religious programmes will be observed in various masjids and shrines across Ganderbal, witnessing a large turnout of devotees. The main congregation will be held at Jamia Masjid Sharief Qamaria, Saloora (Ganderbal), where a special Shab-Khawani (night-long prayer) programme has been organised. The mosque management has informed the general public about the detailed schedule of the programme. Renowned Islamic scholar Abdul Majeed Qadri Sahab will lead the spiritual gathering and deliver a sermon highlighting the religious and spiritual significance of Shab-e-Barat. According to the organisers, Namaz-e-Isha will be offered at 10:30 pm sharp, followed by the sermon, Zikr-o-Azkaar, and special prayers. Duas for peace, unity, and prosperity of the Ummah will continue throughout the holy night. Molvi Ghulam Muhudin said, “Shab-e-Barat is a night of forgiveness, mercy, and self-reflection. Muslims should seek Allah’s forgiveness, pray for peace, and strengthen their connection with faith through sincere worship.” Devotees have been urged to arrive on time and participate wholeheartedly in the night-long spiritual proceedings.
