Since last night, areas including Dawar, Badugam, and Tulail have been blanketed with light to moderate snow, affecting local movement but providing relief to residents from the ongoing cold wave. The fresh snowfall has also rejuvenated water streams and grazing pastures, vital for livestock in the valley. Meanwhile, the plains of Kupwara, Bandipora, and Baramulla recorded intermittent rainfall, leading to cooler temperatures and wet roads. Authorities have urged travelers to exercise caution on slippery stretches, especially in hilly areas.
