Following reports of suspicious movement by unidentified persons in the Sarlea area of Gandoh Bhalesa in Doda district, a joint team of J&K Police and the Indian Army launched a massive search operation in the region. According to official sources, teams from Police Station Gandoh along with the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Army personnel conducted extensive searches in dense forest areas and nearby residential houses to trace the suspected individuals. Senior police officers stated that despite thorough searches, no suspicious material or movement was detected during the operation. Due to poor visibility and inadequate lighting during the night, the search operation was later called off as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, senior police officer along with top Army officials rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation and supervise the operation. Sources added that the search operation is likely to continue in the area to ensure safety and rule out any potential threat.
