ANANTNAG: As the holy month of Ramadan progresses, Muslims around the world continue to observe fasting and engage in acts of worship and charity. Volunteers of Al Khair Foundation Dooru Shahabad are actively working in the remote areas of Qammar Shahabad constituency, providing assistance to widows, orphans and other needy families. Under the banner of Al Khair Foundation, the volunteers have been reaching out to poor and downtrodden sections of society by distributing food items and other essential commodities required for day-to-day living. Chairman of Al Khair Foundation Qammar Shahabad, Moulana Towheed Naik, said that the organisation has been working tirelessly in the area for the last one year to help vulnerable families. “We have been trying our best to support widows, orphans and poor people who are in need of assistance. Our mission is to continue helping the downtrodden and ensure that basic necessities reach those who need them the most,” he said. He also appealed to the people to extend their support towards the humanitarian efforts of the foundation. Towheed Naik expressed gratitude to the members and volunteers of the organisation for their dedication and hard work in serving the needy.
