Ganderbal Feb 04: BJP spokesperson for Jammu and Kashmir, Altaf Thakur, reacted to the India–Pakistan cricket match, claiming that Pakistan’s fear of defeat forced them to flee the field. Speaking to the media, Thakur said that India has already carried out “surgical strikes” against Pakistan twice, including during the Asia Cup, and asserted that Pakistan lacks the courage to face India on any platform. Commenting on reports of harassment of Kashmiris outside the Valley, Thakur strongly condemned such incidents, stating that such actions are wrong and unacceptable. “Kashmiris are Indians, and Kashmir is an integral part of India. We cannot tolerate any harassment of our people anywhere in the country,” he said. Thakur further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that no one will be allowed to play with the unity and integrity of the nation.
