Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh:नर्मदापुरम के रायपुर रोड पर निर्माणाधीन पुलिया से एक गिट्टी से भरा ओवरलोड डंपर गिर गया। सुबह 10:00 बजे, ड्राइवर की लापरवाही के कारण डंपर पुलिया से नीचे जा गिरा। ड्राइवर और क्लीनर को मामूली चोटें आई हैं, और इंजन से तेल टपक रहा है जिससे बड़ा हादसा हो सकता है। निर्माण में अवैध रूप से बिना रॉयल्टी की गिट्टी का उपयोग किया जा रहा है। मौके पर अभी तक कोई अधिकारी नहीं पहुंचे हैं।

A significant chunk of people across Kashmir depend on livestock for their livelihood whether it’s sheep rearing, dairy farms or cattle. Where are the public funds going? Shuhama SKUAST - Vets can’t be blamed but inadequate emergency staffing, zero sanitation - same dirty beds used for multiple animals, unhygienic surroundings, lack of syringes & razors which should be provided free of cost. Even simple diagnostic machines such as their X ray & USG are defunct. Maisuma - Unfortunately the vets here are not approachable, multiple cases of medical negligence where animals are misdiagnosed or refused to be treated. It’s more of a butcher house for sick ailing animals. Again dirty unhygienic emergency rooms, no sanitation, basic machinery defunct. No Chief Animal Husbandry officer even appointed. Request ChiefMinisterOmarAbdullah & Javed Dar to kindly undertake a visit themselves to see the terrible state of both Vet hospitals. Much needs to be done. I’ve seen helpless farmers arrive with their cattle, sheep & horses only to return without adequate treatment.0

Addressing a public rally at Raiyaar in Khansahib area of Budgam, Yaseen said the growing unemployment among educated youth requires immediate and sustained intervention from the government. He said the youth should not be left without income and opportunities while waiting for the creation of sufficient jobs. “The Central Government should announce a monthly special package for unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir till adequate employment opportunities are generated. Our educated youth cannot be expected to remain without livelihood for an indefinite period,” he said. Urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir with dignity, Yaseen said the commitment made by the Centre should now be honoured in letter and spirit. He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir have repeatedly been assured that statehood would be restored and urged the Union Government to translate these assurances into a concrete decision. “The promises made on the floor of Parliament should be honoured. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are looking towards the Government of India for restoration of statehood with dignity and fulfilment of its commitments. Statehood should be restored with dignity and without further delay,” Yaseen said. Referring to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s approach towards Jammu and Kashmir, Yaseen said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has often invoked Vajpayee Ji’s vision of ‘Kashmiriyat, Jamhooriyat and Insaniyat’. He said the principles of humanity, democracy and Kashmiriyat should be reflected in concrete policies and decisions concerning the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “Prime Minister Modi often quotes Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji’s vision of Kashmiriyat, Jamhooriyat and Insaniyat. The time has come to fulfil the spirit of that vision. The promises made to the people must be honoured so that their wounds are healed and their faith in democratic institutions is strengthened,” he said. Yaseen also called for the immediate reopening of Doodhpathri and Tosamaidan, saying their prolonged closure has severely affected the economy and livelihoods of Central Kashmir. He said a formal request for reopening both destinations has already been submitted to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and urged the administration to take an early decision. “Doodhpathri was closed temporarily, but the closure has continued, while Tosamaidan has remained shut for more than a year. This has affected the entire population dependent on tourism in these areas,” he said. Yaseen said the closure had adversely affected pony owners, ATV operators, transporters, dhaba owners, hotel workers, small traders and other tourism-dependent communities. “These meadows are not just tourist landscapes. They are livelihoods. For pony men, ATV drivers, dhaba owners, hotel workers, transporters and small shopkeepers, Doodhpathri and Tosamaidan are sources of income,” he said. He said the prolonged restrictions had resulted in declining business activity, mounting debts and fewer employment opportunities for local youth. Yaseen maintained that reopening the two destinations could provide a major economic boost to surrounding villages and create employment opportunities closer to the homes of local youth. “Doodhpathri and Tosamaidan can create thousands of jobs at the doorstep of our villages. They can attract tourists to new areas and ensure that tourism revenue reaches rural households,” he said. Calling for decentralisation of tourism, the PDF president said the benefits of Kashmir’s tourism economy should not remain confined to a few established destinations. “Tourism must not remain limited to a few circuits. We need to decentralise tourism and give every village blessed with natural beauty an opportunity for livelihood and development,” he said. Yaseen said the reopening of Doodhpathri and Tosamaidan would not only revive local economic activity but also strengthen public confidence in the region’s tourism potential. He urged the LG administration and the elected government to consider the issue from both humanitarian and economic perspectives and facilitate the resumption of tourism-related activities at the earliest. “The administration has the power to turn despair into opportunity. Reopening these destinations can once again bring tourists, employment and economic activity to the villages of Central Kashmir,” he said. Yaseen reiterated that the PDF would continue to raise issues concerning unemployment, livelihoods, tourism and the political and economic rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed to the authorities to act without further delay on the reopening of Doodhpathri and Tosamaidan and on the broader concerns of unemployed youth, saying people need tangible action rather than assurances.0

Kharagpur, West Bengal:SABANG: पांच दिन ধরে জলের তলায় খাউখান্ডা, ঘরের ভিতর জল! পাটাতনের উপর শিশু নিয়ে দিনযাপন, ত্রাণ না মেলায় ক্ষোভ বন্যাকবলিত সাধারণ মানুষের নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা, সবং: টানা প্রবল বৃষ্টিতে জলমগ্ন পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার সবং ব্লকের বিস্তীর্ণ এলাকা। দশগ্রাম, সারতা, বিষ্ণুপুর-সহ একাধিক অঞ্চলের পাশাপাশি ভয়াবহ জলযন্ত্রণাায় দিন কাটাচ্ছেন দশগ্রাম অঞ্চলের খাউখান্ডা মৌজার বাসিন্দারা। স্থানীয়দের দাবি, গত প্রায় পাঁচ দিন ধরে এই মৌজার ৩০ থেকে ৩৫টি বাড়ি জলের তলায় রয়েছে। জল ঢুকেছে একাধিক বাড়ির ঘরেও। ফলে কার্যত গৃহবন্দি হয়ে পড়েছেন বহু পরিবার। জলবন্দি পরিস্থিতিতে কেউ আশ্রয় নিয়েছেন স্থানীয় প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে, কেউ আবার প্রতিবেশীর বাড়িতে। বাড়িতে থাকা পরিবারগুলির দুর্ভোগও কম নয়। ঘরের মধ্যে জল ঢুকে পড়ায় কোথাও পাটাতন তৈরি করে তার উপর শিশুদের নিয়ে দিন কাটাতে হচ্ছে। একদিকে ঘরে জল, অন্যদিকে বিদ্যুৎহীনতা সব মিলিয়ে চরম অনিশ্চয়তার মধ্যে দিন কাটছে বাসিন্দাদের। শুধু মানুষ নয়, গবাদি পশু নিয়েও তৈরি হয়েছে উদ্বেগ। বাড়িঘর জলমগ্ন হওয়ায় গরু-ছাগলকে নিরাপদ রাখতে উঁচু বাঁধের উপর রাখা হয়েছে। দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে জল জমে থাকায় স্বাভাবিক জীবনযাত্রা কার্যত বিপর্যস্ত। স্থানীয়দের দাবি, খাউখান্ডা মৌজার সুস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রও জলের তলায় চলে গিয়েছে। ফলে প্রয়োজনের সময়ে স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবা পাওয়াও কঠিন হয়ে পড়েছে। জলবন্দি অবস্থায় শিশু, বয়স্ক এবং অসুস্থদের নিয়ে সবচেয়ে বেশি সমস্যায় পড়েছেন পরিবারগুলি। এমন দুর্যোগের মধ্যেই প্রশাসনিক সহায়তা নিয়ে বিস্ফোরক অভিযোগ তুলেছেন স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা। তাঁদের দাবি, গত পাঁচ দিন ধরে জলবন্দি থাকলেও এখনও পর্যন্ত এলাকায় কোনো ত্রাণ পৌঁছয়নি। সরকারি ভাবে কোনও জনপ্রতিনিধিও তাঁদের পরিস্থিতি দেখতে আসেননি বলে অভিযোগ। স্থানীয়দের কথায়, শুধুমাত্র আশা কর্মীরা এলাকায় এসে খোঁজখবর নিয়েছেন। কিন্তু খাবার, পানীয় জল, প্রয়োজনীয় ওষুধ কিংবা অন্যান্য ত্রাণসামগ্রী এখনও তাঁদের হাতে পৌঁছয়নি। জলযন্ত্রণা থেকে দ্রুত মুক্তি চান খাউখান্ডার বাসিন্দারা। তাঁদের দাবি, অবিলম্বে এলাকায় ত্রাণ পৌঁছে দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে। বিশেষ করে শিশু ও বয়স্কদের নিরাপদ আশ্রয়ের ব্যবস্থা এবং বিদ্যুত্ পরিষেবা স্বাভাবিক করার দাবিও উঠেছে। প্রবল বৃষ্টির পর অনেক এলাকায় জল कुछটা কমলেও খাউখান্ডা মৌজার বহু পরিবার এখনও জলবন্দি। প্রশাসনের দ্রুত হস্তক্ষেপের আশায় দিন গুনছেন দুর্গত বাসিন্দারা।0

ग्वालियर के गोलपहाड़िया में आग लगाकर 6.40 लाख नुकसान, आरोपी गिरफ्तार
Morena, Madhya Pradesh:एंकर- ग्वालियर के गोलपहाड़िया इलाके में 3 कारों को आग के हवाले कर 6.40 लाख रुपये का नुकसान पहुंचाने के मामले में जनकगंज पुलिस ने एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक आरोपी ने पुराने विवाद का बदला लेने के लिए इस वारदात को अंजाम दिया था। पकड़ने के बाद पुलिस उसे मौके पर ले गई और घटना का पुनर्निर्माण कराया। अब आगे की जांच की जा रही है। वीओ- जनकगंज थाने में शिकायतकर्ता राजू कुशवाह, निवासी गोलपहाड़िया ने बताया कि उसने अपनी मारुति बलेनो MP07-CF-3833 दुकान के बाहर पार्क की थी। इसी के पास बजरंगी उर्फ हनीफ खान की स्विफ्ट डिजायर MP33-C-7258 भी खड़ी थी। रात के समय अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने दोनों गाड़ियों में आग लगा दी। आग इतनी तेज थी कि दोनों कारें पूरी तरह जल गईं। इसी दौरान पास में खड़ी वसीम खान की हुंडई आई-10 MP07-CF-8191 भी इसकी चपेट में आ गई और उसमें नुकसान हुआ। शिकायत में राजू कुशवाह ने गोलू उर्फ राजू कुशवाह व अन्य पर पुरानी रंजिश के चलते शक जताया था। एफआईआर दर्ज होने के बाद पुलिस ने इलाके के CCTV फुटेज खंगाले और मुखबिरों को सक्रिय किया। इसी दौरान मिली जानकारी के आधार पर पुलिस ने मेहंदी वाला सैयद के रहने वाले भूपेंद्र उर्फ गोलू कुशवाहा को पकड़ा। पूछताछ में आरोपी ने अपना गुनाह स्वीकार कर लिया। उसने बताया कि करीब 15 दिन पहले उसका हनीफ उर्फ बजरंगी से झगड़ा हुआ था। उसी का बदला लेने के लिए उसने कारों में आग लगाने की साजिश रची। आरोपी का कहना था कि मैं जानता था हनीफ और राजू कुशवाह के परिवार के बीच पहले से झगड़ा है। इसलिए गाड़ियां जलने पर इल्जाम उन पर जाएगा और मैं बच जाऊंगा। इसी सोच के साथ उसने आग लगाई। जनקगंज पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर कोर्ट में पेश कर दिया है। मामले में जांच जारी है।0

गोटेगांव रेलवे स्टेशन पर ट्रेन से अवैध शराब तस्करी का पुलिस ने पर्दाफाश
Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh:एंकर-नरसिंहपुर जिले गोटेगांव रेलवे स्टेशन पर ट्रेन के जरिए लाई गई अवैध शराब की तस्करी का पुलिस ने पर्दाफाश किया है। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस ने स्टेशन के पास टपरिया मोहल्ला, टूल बाम्स क्षेत्र में घेराबंदी कर दो आरोपियों को दबोच लिया। पकड़े गए आरोपियों में जबलपुर निवासी 20 वर्षीय अभिनव वंशकार उर्फ गोल्डी और 21 वर्षीय आदित्य बेन उर्फ छोटू शामिल हैं। पुलिस ने दोनों के कब्जे से बोरियों में भरी 14 पेटी देशी मसाला और प्लेन शराब बरामद की है, जिसकी अनुमानित कीमत करीब 70 हजार रुपये बताई जा रही है। पुलिस के मुताबिक शराब ट्रेन के जरिए गोटेगांव लाई गई थी और यहां से दूसरी जगह पहुंचाई जानी थी। दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ आबकारी एक्ट की धारा 34(2) में मामला दर्ज कर तस्करी के नेटवर्क की जांच की जा रही है。0

दिल्ली टिकरी खुर्द: स्पेशल सेल ने आतंकियों के हथियारों का जखीरा नष्ट कर दिया
New Delhi, Delhi:बड़ी खबर: दिल्ली के टिकरी खुर्द में सेना की निगरानी में नष्ट किए गए रॉकेट लॉन्चर और हैंड ग्रेनेड; स्पेशल सेल द्वारा पकड़े गए आतंकियों के बारूद को किया गया डिफ्यूजन राजधानी दिल्ली के बाहरी-उत्तरी जिले के टिकरी खुर्द इलाके से आज सुबह सुरक्षा से जुड़ी एक बेहद बड़ी और सनसनीखेज गतिविधि सामने आई है। दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल (Special Cell) की टीम द्वारा कुछ समय पहले सिक्किम और मणिपुर से गिरफ्तार किए गए खूंखार आतंकवादियों के पास से बरामद किए गए भारी विस्फोटक और हथियारों के जखीरे को आज सुरक्षित तरीके से नष्ट (Dispose) कर दिया गया है। टिकरी खुर्द के एक स्कूल के पास स्थित खुले और वीरान मैदान में इस पूरी संवेदनशील कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया गया। वीओ रॉकेट लॉन्चर, हैंड ग्रेनेड और जिंदा कारतूस किए गए नष्टआपको बता दें कि दिल्ली पुलिस की एंटी-टेरर विंग यानी स्पेशल सेल ने पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों (सिक्किम और मणिपुर) में एक बड़े गुप्त ऑपरेशन के तहत छापा मारकर दो आतंकियों को दबोचा था। इन आतंकवादियों के कब्जे से करीब दर्जनभर घातक और उच्च तीव्रता वाले विस्फोटक बरामद हुए थे। इस जखीरे में:मिलिट्री ग्रॉन्ड लॉन्चर (Rocket Launchers)अत्यधिक विनाशकारी हैंड ग्रेनेड (Hand Grenades)भारी मात्रा में जिंदा कारतूस (Live Ammunition) शामिल थे। सुरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल के तहत इन खतरनाक विस्फोटकों को लंबे समय तक एक्टिव रखना बेहद जोखिम भरा था, जिसके चलते आज इन्हें नष्ट करने का फैसला लिया गया। वीओ भारतीय सेना (Army) के बम स्क्वॉड की निगरानी में हुआ डिस्पोजलमामले की संवेदनशीलता और विस्फोटकों की विनाशकारी क्षमता को देखते हुए स्पेशल सेल ने भारतीय सेना (Indian Army) के बम निरोधक दस्ते (Bomb Squad) से संपर्क किया था। आज सुबह टिकरी खुर्द के स्कूल के पास बने बड़े खुले मैदान को चारों तरफ से पूरी तरह कॉर्डन ऑफ (सील) कर दिया गया। सेना के उच्च प्रशिक्षित बम स्क्वॉड के विशेषज्ञों और अत्याधुनिक उपकरणों की सीधी निगरानी में, जमीन के अंदर गहरा गड्ढा खोदकर इन सभी रॉकेट लॉन्चरों और हैंड ग्रेनेडों को सुरक्षित तरीके से ब्लास्ट कर डिस्पोज किया गया। वीओ स्कूल और रिहायशी इलाके के पास कड़े सुरक्षा इंतजामचूंकि यह मैदान टिकरी खुर्द के एक स्कूल और स्थानीय आबादी के पास स्थित है, इसलिए स्थानीय पुलिस और स्पेशल सेल ने सुरक्षा के कड़े और अभूतपूर्व इंतजाम किए थे। डिस्पोजल प्रक्रिया शुरू होने से पहले ही फायर ब्रिगेड (दमकल विभाग) की गाड़ियां, एम्बुलेंस और दिल्ली पुलिस की पिकेट टीमों को मौके पर मुस्तैद कर दिया गया था। धमाके की आवाज से लोगों में पैनिक न फैले, इसके लिए भी एहतियाती कदम उठाए गए थे। सेना और स्पेशल सेल की सूझबूझ से यह पूरा ऑपरेशन बिना किसी नुकसान के पूरी तरह सफल रहा।0

सिन्थन टॉप के पास शव लेकर जा रही Xylo कार दुर्घटना में चार घायल
Anantnag, Four Injured as Xylo car Carrying Dead Body Meets Accident Near Sinthan Top Anantnag, August 19: Four people were injured after a Xylo vehicle met with an accident near Sinthan Top in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, officials said. No fatality was reported in the accident. According to officials, the accident occurred around 2–3 kilometres below Sinthan Top, within the jurisdiction of Police Station Larnoo. The xylo bearing registration number JK03G-7299, was travelling from SKIMS Soura towards Kishtwar while carrying a dead body when the driver reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to skid off the road. Five people were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Four of them sustained injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, officials said. Following the incident, a police team from Larnoo, along with an ambulance, was rushed to the spot to assist in the evacuation of the injured.0

पनवेल नगरपालिका के स्वच्छतागृह में बेड-सोफा- वॉशिंग मशीन: सुरक्षा पर सवाल
Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra:पनवेल पालिके ने 37 लाख खर्च कर बनाए गए इस स्वच्छतागृह का उद्घाटन दीड महीने पहले आमदार प्रशांत ठाकूर के हस्ते किया गया था, पर केअर टेकर ने उसमें अपना संसार बसया है; नवीन चकचक स्वच्छता गृह में अपांगों के बाथरूम में वॉशिंग मशीन, किचन और बेड रखे गए हैं, बीच की राह में सोफा रखा गया है, जिससे स्वच्छता गृह की सुरक्षा खतरे में आ गई है; यहाँ स्वच्छता गृह उपयोग करने वाली महिलाओं की सुरक्षा के प्रश्न उठ रहे हैं. विरोधी पक्ष नेता अरविंद म्हात्रे ने इस घटना को अत्यंत गंभीर बताया है और पालिका के पैसे से बनाए गए स्वच्छतागृह का उद्देश्य क्या है, इसकी शिकायत आयुक्त और महापौर से की है. याबाबत महापौर नितीन पाटील ने नाराजी व्यक्त की है तथा संबंधित विभाग अधिकारी को त्वरित कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए हैं. महापौर के अनुसार केअर टेकर का परिवार यहाँ वास्तव में रहता है. विशेषतः पालिका अधिकारी जानकारी नहीं रखते थे, इससे लाखों के खर्च कर बनाए गए स्वच्छतागृह नागरिकों की सुविधा के लिए हैं, किन्तु यहाँ आने वाले नागरिकों की सुरक्षा कितनी सुरक्षा है, यह प्रश्नचिह्न बन गया है.0

This is not just a statistic, it is a warning. With youth making up nearly 70% of our population and unemployment reportedly at 32%, the sharp fall in higher secondary and higher education enrolment should deeply concern us. One of the major reasons is the growing sense that education does not guarantee employment, equal opportunity or a secure future. A flawed reservation policy has further deepened the perception of inequality and exclusion among our young people. Behind these numbers are dreams being put on hold and a generation losing hope."0

अजमेर शरीफ दरगाह के पास नशेड़ियों के हंगामे से दहशत बनी
Ajmer, Rajasthan:रियासत राजस्थान के अजमेर शरीफ दरगाह इलाके में नशेड़ियों की दहशत अब इस कदर बढ़ गया है की दरगाह और उसके आसपास रहने वालों का जीना दुश्वार हो गया है। जिसका सबूत सोशेल मीडिया पर गर्दिश करता गुजिश्ता शब का एक वीडियो है। जिसमे एक नशेड़ी ने दरगाह के 10 नंबर गेट पर इस कदर हंगामा और मारपीट मचाई की पुलिस सिक्योरिटी गार्ड पर हमला करना शुरू कर दिया। यहां तक की 10 नंबर गेट पर ड्यूटी पर तैनात पुलिस सिपाही ने उसे दरगाह में दाखिल होने पर रोका तो उसने सिपाही को भी नहीं बख्शा और उस पर भी हमला कर दिया। मौके पर दरगाह कमेटी और पुलिस के तैनात जवानों पर इस नशेड़ी ने हमला कर उन्हें जख्मी कर दिया। इस दरमियान मौके पर मौजूद लोगों ने इस नशेड़ी को पकड़ा और लात घूंसों से धो दिया, जिससे वह भी जख्मी हो गया। नग्गे जिस्म ये नशेड़ी शख्स दरगाह में घुसने की पूरी कोशिश करता रहा, यहां तक कि शाहज़ानि मस्जिद के किनारे भी पहुंच गया। मौके की नज़ाकत और ज़ायरीन की हिफाज़त को देखते हुए नशेड़ी शख्स को गेट से वापस लौटा दिया गया। लेकिन जाते जाते पुलिसकर्मी, दरगाह कमेटी के चपड़ासी और लीजेंड सिक्योरिटी गार्ड को भी धमकी दे गया। वीडियो में देखा जा सकता है कि काफी देर तक चले इस हंगामा मारपीट और लात घुसो से माहौल गरमा गया। इस पूरे हंगामे का वीडियो मौके पर मौजूद चश्मदीद लोगो ने अपने मोबाइल में कैद कर उसे सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल कर दिया। ग़ौरतलब है कि आलमी मशहूर अजमेर शरीफ दरगाह पर दुनिया भर से ज़ायरीन अमन सुकून हासिल करने पहुंचते हैं, लेकिन ऐसे में खानाबदोश और नशेड़ियों के दरगाह के आसपास डेरा डालने और जमावड़े से इस तरह के शर्मनाक मामले अक्सर सामने आते है। आलम तो अब ये हो गया है की हर रोज भिखारी,खानाबदोश और नशेड़ियों के झगड़े आम हो गए है। देखने वाली बात यह है की दरगाह के आसपास नशेड़ियों की बढ़ती दहशत, चोरी,जेबतराशी गाली गलौच तक सीमित नही रही बल्कि अब खुन खराबा,चाकू छुरी तक पहुंच गई है। मकामियो के मुताबिक़ इन सब की वजह दरगाह इलाके में खुले आम चल रहे नशे का कारोबार है। यही वजह है कि नशेड़ियों पर पुलिस की अनदेखी इस बार उन्हें पर हावी होती नजर आई है। जहां दरगाह के 10 नंबर गेट पर तैनात पुलिस के सिपाहियों पर ही नशेड़ी ने हमला कर दिया। फिलहाल इस नशेड़ी को गेट नंबर 10 से वापस बाहर कर दिया गया, लेकिन जाते-जाते पुलिस कर्मी और दरगाह कमेटी के कर्मचारियों को बाद में देख लेने की धमकी भी दे गया। बताते चले कि दरगाह इलाक़ा और गेट नम्बर 10 के आस पास नशे का कारोबार खुले आम चलता है,ऐसे में अगर अब भी पुलिस नींद से नही जागी और नशेड़ियों के खिलाफ कोई कार्यवाही अमल में नही लाई गई,तो आगे बड़ी वारदातों से भी अंजान नही रहा जा सकता।0

शेख इशफाक जाब्बार ने वर्पाश में बुनियादी सुविधाओं के सुधार का भरोसा जताया
Aram Pora, Ganderbal, Jammu Kashmir United Movement President and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar today visited the Wurpash area of Ganderbal and took stock of the issues faced by local residents. Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar said that Wurpash, which was previously part of the Kangan Assembly constituency, was recently brought under the Ganderbal constituency following delimitation. He highlighted the lack of basic infrastructure and essential amenities in the area, including roads, schools, healthcare facilities and streetlights. He said several major infrastructure projects, including roads and schools, were developed during the tenure of his late father, Sheikh Abdul Jabbar. He also said that the water filtration plant in the area was established during the tenure of the DDC Chairperson Nuzahat ishfaq. During the visit, residents raised several issues, particularly regarding the distribution of drinking water from the filtration plant. Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar assured them that the matter would be taken up with the concerned department. He also stressed the need for streetlights in the area, saying that the hilly and forested area increases the risk of wild animals, making adequate street lighting essential for the safety of residents. Other issues raised by the residents included high electricity bills, discrepancies in ration cards, particularly among families belonging to the BPL category, and the lack of other basic amenities. Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar assured the residents that their grievances would be taken up with the concerned departments and efforts would be made to ensure their resolution. To ensure that these issues are addressed effectively, he proposed establishing a local unit that would serve as a direct link between the residents and his team and help coordinate efforts to resolve their grievances. Meanwhile, local residents thanked Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar for visiting their area and listening to their concerns. They expressed their support for Sheikh Jabbar and his movement, pledging their votes and full support and stating that they would not shift their loyalty elsewhere. The residents praised the developmental work carried out by Sheikh Jabbar in the past and urged other youth to come forward and join the Jkum for the betterment and development of the community.0

KVK Bandipora ने वुलर के किनारे गुलाबी कमल खेती से नया रोजगार-स्रोत विकसित किया Efforts by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Bandipora have helped promote pink lotus cultivation along the banks of Wular Lake as a promising new livelihood opportunity for local communities. The initiative aims to make productive use of wasteland and marshy areas while combining wetland conservation, aquatic crop cultivation and income generation. The blooming pink lotus is also enhancing the natural beauty of the Wular landscape and could provide further opportunities for eco-tourism and related local economic activities. Speaking to this Salaam Tv, incharge KVK Bandipora Dr. Tariq Sultan said the Vice-Chancellor has been emphasizing the utilization of wasteland and marshy land for growing aquatic crops, followed by secondary agriculture and post-harvest processing. “Two years ago, we conducted a successful demonstration of pink lotus cultivation and showcased the technology to farmers. This year, the response has been very positive,” Dr. Sultan said. He said that during field visits, farmers observed the technology being developed by the KVK and showed keen interest in adopting it. “As a result, many farmers are now coming forward to adopt pink lotus cultivation in their fields,” he said. The initiative is expected to provide an additional source of income for farmers while contributing to the conservation and sustainable use of the Wular wetland. It could also strengthen the connection between wetland conservation, local livelihoods and eco-tourism in the region.0
