हैदराबाद में Dundigal पुलिस ने कुत्ते की क्रूर हत्या के मामले में प्राथमिकी दर्ज

Hyderabad: Dundigal Police have registered a case in connection with a shocking incident of alleged animal cruelty near Pallavi International School in KVR Valley, Mallampet. According to the complaint filed by Sai Teja Peddineni, the incident dates back to the evening of January 24, 2026. The complainant stated that he rushed to the spot at around 6:00 pm after receiving information that a dog had not yet been rescued. Upon reaching the location, he allegedly found a group of people chasing the dog with sticks and stones. The group was reportedly in an inebriated and aggressive state and was allegedly attempting to kill the dog. Despite offers to rescue the animal in a humane manner, the complainant claimed that the group continued to chase the dog on their vehicles. After an hour-long search, security personnel at Pallavi International School allegedly informed the complainant that the dog had been beaten, tortured, and burnt alive. The incident is said to have occurred at around 8:30 pm on January 24. The complaint has named two individuals in connection with the incident Mr.Srisailam, Colony President of KVR Valley, and Manoj, who reportedly claims to be a veterinarian. Based on the complaint, Dundigal Police registered a case under Section 325 of the BNS and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. The case has been registered as Crime No. 76/2026, and further investigation is underway. Police officials said that action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation.
