सिकंदरा थाना क्षेत्र के रसधान हाईव पर ओवरटेक के दौरान दो कारों की जोरदार टक्कर हो गई। हादसे में 5 लोग घायल हो गए। घटना के दौरान हाईवे पर आस पास के ग्रामीणों ने कार में फंसे लोगों को बाहर निकाला। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने घायलों को एंबुलेंस की मदद से सीएचसी सिकंदरा में भर्ती कराया। कार सवार सौरभ शर्मा ने बताया कि वह अपने साथी के साथ कुंभ स्नान करने जा रहा था। पीछे से आ रही तेज रफ्तार लग्जरी कार ने टक्कर मार दी जिससे एक कार पलट गई और आगे जा रही कार डिवाइडर तोड़कर फंस गई।

Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand:Bokaro,, Mrityunjai Mishra ---- बोकारो में एक नवविवाहिता की संदेहास्पद मौत के मामले में मृतिका के परिजन बीती रात थाना पहुंचे जहां थाना में ससुराल पक्ष पर दहेज प्रताड़ना का आरोप लगाते हुए न्याय की मांग की। वही हरला थाना पुलिस भी जांच के बाद कारवाई की बात कही। बताते चले कि बोकारो स्टील सिटी के सेक्टर 9A, स्ट्रीट संख्या-2 स्थित आवास संख्या-377 में बुधवार को नवविवाहित सुषमा कुमारी की रहस्यमय परिस्थितियों में मौत हो गई। सुषमा की हाल ही में 20 अप्रैल को शादी हुई थी। परिजनों का आरोप है कि विवाह के बाद से ही सुषमा पर दहेज, खासकर चार पहिया वाहन तथा रुपये लाने का दबाव डाला जा रहा था। परिवारजनों के अनुसार, मृतका की बड़ी बहन स्वीटी को सुबह करीब 11 बजे सुषमा के पति ऋतिक का फोन आया – जिसमें बताया गया कि सुषमा की मौत हो गई है। घर पहुंचने पर स्वीटी ने देखा कि सुषमा बेड पर अचेत अवस्था में पड़ी थी। परिजन उसे आनन-फानन में बोकारो जनरल हॉस्पिटल ले गए, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। पुलिस जांच में जुटी है। हरला थाना प्रभारी अनिल कश्यप ने बताया कि प्रथम दृष्टया मामला आत्महत्या जैसा प्रतीत हो रहा है, लेकिन अनुसंधान के बाद ही स्पष्ट हो पाएगा कि यह आत्महत्या है या हत्या। घटना के समय पति ऋतिक घर में ही मौजूद था, जिसे पुलिस ने पूछताछ के लिए हिरासत में लिया है। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल के पास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे की फुटेज भी जब्त कर ली है। मृतका के माता-पिता और बहन ने सुस्पष्ट रूप से दहेज प्रताड़ना और हत्या की आशंका जताई है। पुलिस सभी पहलुओं की बारीकी से जांच कर रही है। बाइट -- स्वीटी कुमारी, मृतिका की बड़ी बहन। बाइट -- परिजन, सास, लाल साड़ी में। बाइट -- अनिल कश्यप, थाना प्रभारी, हरला।

Ganderbal, :Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, on Wednesday called on Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan and held an extensive discussion on several critical issues affecting the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of recent natural calamities. During the meeting, Sharma highlighted the issue of road connectivity across the Union Territory, particularly in areas cut off due to landslides and floods. He stressed that many villages and towns remain disconnected, which is severely hampering public movement, delivery of essentials, and access to healthcare. The power supply and water supply crisis was also raised in detail. Sharma pointed out that many flood-hit and hilly regions are facing acute electricity cuts and irregular drinking water facilities, creating immense hardships for common people. He urged the administration to ensure restoration on a war footing. On the matter of flood relief, Shri Sharma emphasized that the current allocation for damaged houses is grossly inadequate. He requested that the financial support for affected families be increased substantially, so that people whose homes have been destroyed or partially damaged can rebuild their lives with dignity. The postponement of competitive examinations, including the JKPSC Lecturer recruitment and Munsiff examinations, was also discussed at length. Sharma conveyed the concerns of aspirants who are unable to prepare or even reach examination centres due to poor connectivity, floods, and internet issues. He appealed to the administration to ensure fairness by rescheduling these exams. The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha gave a patient hearing to all the issues raised and assured Shri Sunil Sharma that these matters will be taken up on priority for timely resolution. Sunil Sharma expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble LG for his understanding and prompt assurance. He said, “As Leader of Opposition, it is my duty to be the voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I will continue to raise their concerns with full sincerity and commitment, ensuring that every citizen’s voice is heard and addressed.”

सीतापुर: बिना परमिशन नीम-गूलर पेड़ काटे, वन विभाग और पुलिस ने हिरासत में दो

Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh:सीतापुर। सरकारी कार्यालय के अंदर से नीम और गूलर के पेड़ बिना परमिशन के काटे गए । देर रात वन विभाग की टीम और शहर कोतवाली पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची । पेड़ो की बाजरो मूल्य लगभग एक लाख रुपए बताई जा रही है। वन विभाग पुलिस संयुक्त टीम ने ट्रैक्टर लोडर तीन पेड़ काटने की मशीन सहित लाखों रुपए की लकड़ी और दो अभिक्तों को लिया हिरासत में। यह पूरा मामला शहर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के कार्यालय अधीक्षण अभियंता सीतापुर /खीरी व्रत लोक निर्माण विभाग सीतापुर का है।

रांची में धूप-बारिश का खेल, मौसम कार्यालय ने क्या चेतावनी दी?

Ranchi, Jharkhand:बीते तीन-चार दिनों से राजधानी रांची सहित राज्य के कई हिस्सों में हुई बारिश के बाद आज आसमान में हल्की धूप खिली है और तापमान में भी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की जा रही है। मौसम को लेकर मौसम विभाग का अनुमान है की उत्तर पूर्वी और उत्तरी मध्य भागों में कुछ स्थानों पर अगले दो दिनों तक बारिश होगी इसके साथ ही तेज गर्जन और 30 से 40 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाओं के चलने की बीच संभावना जताई गई है मौसम विभाग ने ऐसा अनुमान लगाया है कि कई स्थानों पर गरजचमक के साथ बारिश का दौर जारी रहेगा और 19 और 20 सितंबर को भी राज्य की कई जिलों में बारिश का असर दिखेगा हालांकि 22 सितंबर के बाद मौसम के शुष्क रहने के आसार जताए जा रहे हैं। wkt kamran

Ganderbal, :A group of young individuals from Gurez joined the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in presence of the party’s Gurez constituency in-charge, Syed Tajamul. The joining took place during a brief function organised by the party, following which the youth delegation called on PDP President Mehbooba Mufti . Welcoming the new entrants, Mehbooba Mufti said the PDP has always represented the voice and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially those living in far-flung and border areas. "PDP is not merely a political party but a people’s movement committed to dignity, peace and justice,” she said. The youth who joined the party described PDP as a "ray of hope" for the people of the Union Territory and said they believe the party can play a vital role in addressing key challenges such as unemployment. They expressed confidence that the party’s vision aligns with the aspirations of the younger generation seeking a dignified life and socio-political empowerment. Speaking on the occasion, Syed Tajamul said Gurez has always remained an integral part of PDP's political focus and recalled the role of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in ensuring due representation to the region. “A party delegation will soon visit Gurez to hold interactions with the locals and take up their issues with concerned authorities for prompt redressal,” Tajamul said. He added that the party would actively prepare for the upcoming Panchayat elections in the area and take its manifesto to the grassroots. “The PDP’s vision of peace with dignity particularly benefits people living in border areas. Srinagar, :Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat, Former Hurriyat Chairman Passes Away at 89 Sopore, : Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat, prominent academic, political leader, and former Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, passed away this evening at his residence in Boitengo, Sopore after a brief illness. He was 89 years old. Prof. Bhat was born in 1935 in the village of Botengo, near Sopore in north Kashmir. He was an erudite scholar, completing his undergraduate studies in Persian, Economics, and Political Science at Sri Pratap College in Srinagar, followed by postgraduate degrees in Persian and a law degree from Aligarh Muslim University. Before entering politics, he served as a professor of Persian for over two decades. His academic career ended in 1986 when he was dismissed from service on grounds of being a “threat to state security,” a decision that pushed him further into public and political life. Politically, Prof. Bhat was a co-founder of the Muslim United Front (MUF) in 1986, a coalition which contested the 1987 Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections. Following alleged electoral irregularities, the MUF was dissolved, and Prof. Bhat went on to lead the Jammu & Kashmir Muslim Conference, and later served as Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. He authored the book ‘Beyond Me, and was known for his outspoken views. Throughout his life, he was considered a moderate voice within the separatist spectrum. He always opposed stone-pelting, gun culture and other means of violence. Family sources said that his Namaz-e-Janazah will be observed tomorrow at 10:00 AM in his native village in Sopore. His passing marks the end of a long chapter in Kashmir’s history: one of teacher, thinker, and politician who bridged academia and activism.
