ਪੰਜਾਬ ਜਲ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਤੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਆਊਟਸੋਰਸ ਠੇਕਾ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਹਲਕੇ ਧੂਰੀ 'ਚ ਕੰਮ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਲਾਸ ਫੋਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਪ ਮੰਡਲ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੀਵਰਮੈਨ ਤੇ ਪੰਪ ਅਪਰੇਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ ਔਖਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 5 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਐਸਡੀਓ ਨੇ 8 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ 'ਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਰੋਸ ਹੈ।

In a deeply moving act of generosity amidst overwhelming grief, the family of a 44-year-old male patient from Haryana admitted to PGIMER on 23rd November, after a severe fall leading to a fatal head injury chose to donate his organs. Their magnanimous decision gave the gift of life to three terminally ill organ failure patients and restored vision to two corneal blind individuals . What began as a moment of heart-breaking loss transformed into a powerful legacy of hope and healing for five recipients. Despite all possible medical interventions, the patient’s condition deteriorated, and brain death was declared following THOA protocols on 27 November 2025. Displaying extraordinary strength and compassion, the patient’s wife consented to organ donation, motivated by her husband’s lifelong spirit of helping others, ““My husband always believed in helping people,” she shared. “Even though he is no longer with us, I wanted his goodness to continue. Knowing that he has saved lives gives me strength to move forward.” Recognizing the family’s noble intent, PGIMER immediately activated its Organ Retrieval and Allocation System under the National Organ Transplant Programme. The liver was allocated through the national network to the Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (PILBS), where a suitable recipient in urgent need was identified. This facilitated PILBS’s first cadaver liver transplant, marking a historic advancement for Punjab’s transplant ecosystem. At the same time, the two kidneys retrieved were successfully transplanted at PGIMER, saving the lives of two terminally ill renal failure patients. The corneas restored sight to two individuals suffering from corneal blindness—extending the donor’s legacy to five grateful recipients. Expressing gratitude to the braveheart donor family, Prof. Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, said, “The donor family’s noble gesture stands as an extraordinary message of humanity. Their willingness to rise above their grief has saved multiple lives and strengthened the organ donation movement in our region. Supporting PILBS in achieving their first cadaver liver transplant is a proud moment for PGIMER and a major milestone for Punjab’s healthcare landscape.” Echoing this, Prof. Vipin Koushal, Medical Superintendent and Nodal Officer, ROTTO (North), PGIMER, stated, “Organ donation is the greatest gift one can offer. The family’s courage is profoundly inspiring. This case also demonstrates the exceptional coordination between PGIMER and PILBS, ensuring organs were allocated swiftly, ethically, and to the most suitable recipients.” Dr. Virendra Singh, Director, Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, conveyed his heartfelt appreciation as he said, “We are deeply thankful to PGIMER for their mentorship, guidance, and facilitation in enabling our first cadaver liver transplant. Kullu, Himachal Pradesh:बौद्ध धर्म के धर्मगुरु युगेल रिमपोछे का 9 वां अवतार शाड़ावाई बौद्ध गोम्पा में पहुंचा। जहां पर बौद्ध धर्म के रीति रिवाज के अनुसार 4 साल के बालक का मुंडन संस्कार किया गया। इस दौरान किन्नौर से भी सैंकड़ों श्रद्धालु यहां पहुंचे और उन्होंने धर्म गुरु का भी आशीर्वाद लिया। बौद्ध धर्म के धर्मगुरु युगेल रिमपोछे का 9 वां अवतार हिमाचल प्रदेश के जिला किन्नौर के पूह गांव में दोबारा जन्म लिया हैं और अब बौद्ध धर्म की शिक्षा ग्रहण की जाएगी। किन्नौर से शाड़ावाई बौद्ध गोम्पा देछेन छोई खोर महाविहार पहुंचे श्रद्धालु रोशन लाल ने बताया कि सबसे पहले धर्मगुरु युगेल रिमपोछे ने पहला अवतार 1730 में लद्दाख के राज परिवार में लिया था और उसके बाद उन्होंने तिब्बत के बौद्ध महाविहार में शिक्षा हासिल की। धर्मगुरु ने उसके बाद बौद्ध धर्म का प्रचार किया और लोगों को शांत जीवन जीने की भी शिक्षा दी। रोशन लाल ने बताया कि उसके बाद भी धर्मगुरु के द्वारा पुनर्जन्म लिया गया और आठवां जन्म के दौरान वो किन्नौर के गोंपा में रहे। अब उन्होंने फिर से अपना नौंवा जन्म लिया हैं और देछेन छोई खोर महाविहार में उनका मुंडन संस्कार किया गया हैं। रोशन लाल ने बताया की धर्मगुरु ने अपने पहले के जन्म में भी किन्नौर लाहौल स्पीति तिब्बत और लेह लद्दाख में बौद्ध धर्म का अध्ययन किया और इसका लोगों के बीच भी प्रचार किया। वह लद्दाख के हेमिस गोंपा के साथ-साथ किन्नौर के टाशीगांग में बौद्ध महा बिहार में भी काफी समय तक रहे और आज भी किन्नौर के बौद्ध महाविहार में बौद्ध धर्म की शिक्षा दी जाती है।

Moga, Punjab:मोगा के घोलिया गाँव वालों की अनोखी पहल: मोबाइल छोड़कर समय बिताने पर मिलेगा इनाम। खाली (वेला) बैठने की करवाई प्रतियोगिता, विजेताओं को मिलेगा पुरस्कार। मुक़ाबले में कोई समय सीमा नहीं ना ही उम्र की सीमा। क्या हम मोबाइल के कारण परिवारों से जुदा हो रहे हैं? क्या हमारे संयुक्त परिवार टूट रहे है? इन सब का क्या कारण है इसको लेकर मोगा ज़िले के घोलिया खुर्द में गाँव वासियों की ओर से एक अनोखी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया, जिसका उद्देश्य लोगों को मोबाइल की दुनिया से बाहर निकालकर सामाजिक और मानसिक तौर पर सक्रिय बनाना है। इस प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभागियों को बिना मोबाइल के सबसे अधिक समय तक बैठेना है वहीं विजेताओं को पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा। पहला इनाम एक साइकिल और 4500 रुपए, दूसरा इनाम 31सौ रुपए, तीसरा इनाम 15 सो रुपए रखा गया है। आयोजक कमलप्रीत सिंह गिल ने बताया कि आज के समय में बच्चों से लेकर बुजुर्गों तक हर कोई मोबाइल में व्यस्त रहता है। इसी को देखते हुए पंचायत की ओर से यह अनोखी पहल की गई है, जिससे लोगों को डिजिटल लत से दूर किया जा सके। इस प्रतियोगिता में हर आयु वर्ग के लोग भाग ले सकते हैं। प्रतियोगिता के नियमों के अनुसार— 1. प्रतिभागी अपने साथ मोबाइल फोन लेकर नहीं आएंगे । 2. प्रतियोगिता के दौरान शौचालय आदि के लिए जाना, सोना भी माना हे । 3. किसी भी प्रकार का खाना-पीना साथ लाने की मनाही होगी । 4. कोई खेल या शारीरिक गतिविधि नहीं की जा सकेगी। 5. झगड़ा करने वालों को तुरंत बाहर कर दिया जाएगा । 6. मैच फिक्सिंग करने वालों को भी निष्कासित किया जाएगा। 7. प्रतियोगिता में समय सीमा तय नहीं होगी । 8. एक ही स्थान पर लगातार बैठे रहना अनिवार्य होगा । 9. बीच में बाहर होने वालों को पुनः प्रवेश नहीं मिलेगा। यह प्रतियोगिता में 12 घंटे, 24 घंटे या 36 घंटे तक भी बैठना पड़ सकता है। जो सबसे अंत तक बैठा रहेगा, वही विजेता घोषित होगा। तीन प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार प्रदान किए जाएंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता की घोषणा के बाद से ही हज़ारों कॉल प्राप्त हो चुके हैं और लोग इस अनोखे कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने के लिए उत्साहित हैं। इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं को मोबाइल से दूर करके किताबें पढ़ने और सामाजिक मेलजोल की ओर प्रेरित करना है। आओ आपको लेकर चलते है मुकाबले में और सुनते है क्या कहना है मुकाबले में हिस्सा लेने वाले और आयोजक का।

Kullu, Himachal Pradesh:एंकर-देशभर से मनाली पहुंच रहे टूरिस्ट आज रोहतांग पास पहुंच सकेंगे। जिला प्रशासन ने बीते सप्ताह मंगलवार और बुधवार को बीआरओ द्वारा सड़क को ब्लैकटोप करने के लिए और सड़क पर फिसलन बढ़ने की समस्या को देखते हुए रोहतांग पास के लिए वाहनों की आवाजाही रोक दी थी। रविवार को सड़क का मुआायना करने के बाद प्रशासन ने आज सड़क बहाल करने की निर्णय लिया। इससे टूरिस्ट बर्फ देखने के लिए रोहतांग दर्रा पहुंच सकेंगे। इस बीच 4 व 5 दिसंबर को लंबे समय से चला आ रहा ड्राइ स्पेल टूट सकता है। वेस्टर्न डिस्टरबेंस एक्टिव होने से अधिक ऊंचे क्षेत्रों में हल्की बर्फबारी और मध्य ऊंचाई वाले भागों में हल्की बारिश का पूर्वानुमान है।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Three more Pakistani spies arrested in Punjab. They were transferring hawala money to a lawyer, with the aim of strengthening terrorism. Haryana Police, engaged in uncovering a major network of espionage and terrorist funding for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, has achieved a major success. Following the arrest of Rizwan, a young lawyer from the Taoru area of Mewat, and Ajay Arora, a resident of Jalandhar, three more people have been arrested from Amritsar, Punjab. All of them were produced in court late last night and taken on police remand. The eight-day remand of Rizwan, a resident of Kharkhari village in Tawadu, and Ajay Arora, arrested in the first phase, ends on December 4. The three new accused face serious charges of transferring crores of rupees from Pakistani handlers to Rizwan through hawala channels and funding anti-national activities in Punjab. The identities of these three have not yet been released. According to police sources, Rizwan's Punjab National Bank account received hawala funds totaling crores of rupees from Pakistani handlers, a large portion of which was to be used to strengthen the terrorist network in Punjab. Rizwan frequently visited various cities in Punjab. Investigations have revealed that Rizwan gave approximately 30-35 lakh rupees to Ajay Arora, which Arora then transferred to a businessman living abroad. Last Wednesday, Nuh police arrested Rizwan. Subsequently, a joint team with the Punjab Police arrested Ajay Arora from Jalandhar. Forensic examinations of their mobile phones and laptops are ongoing, revealing numerous suspicious chats and documents linked to Pakistani networks. A total of five arrests have been made in the case so far. Police still have to recover an additional ₹3.3-3.4 million. DSP Abhimanyu Lohan is heading the investigation and is frequently touring Punjab, as most of the links are located there. The police presented all the accused in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Chhabi Goyal at night to avoid media attention. To avoid disrupting the investigation, the police have not yet issued any official statement. Sources indicate that more arrests may be made in the case.

Anandpur Sahib, Punjab:ਨੂਰਪੁਰ ਬੇਦੀ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਾਦਸਾ, ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਬੱਸ ਪਲਟੀ, 25 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ , ਜਾਨੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਬਚਾਅ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੂਰਪੁਰ ਬੇਦੀ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਬੱਸ ਦੇ ਪਲਟਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰ 25 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ, ਬੱਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਦ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਰਾਹਤ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਰਹੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ。 VO1 - ਮਿਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਬੱਸ ਨੂਰਪੁਰ ਬੇਦੀ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਓਦੋਂ ਡਿਵਾਈਡਰ ‘ਤੇ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਗਲਤ ਫ਼ਹਿਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੱਸ ਦੇ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋ ਟਾਇਰ ਡਿਵਾਈਡਰ ‘ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਸ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਲਟ ਗਈ। ਹਾਦਸਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਸਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਫ਼ਸ ਗਈਆਂ। ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹੀ ਨੂਰਪੁਰ ਬੇਦੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੂਰਪੁਰ ਬੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ 。 ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ VO2 - ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਹਾਦਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਸੜਕ ‘ਤੇ ਟ੍ਰੈਫ਼ਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਰਿਹਾ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਮੁੜ ਚਾਲੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ。
