बीती शाम मुल्लांपुर के नये स्टेडियम में क्रिकेट विश्व कप जीतने वाली भारतीय महिला टीम की पंजाबी खिलाड़ियों, हरमनप्रीत कौर (कप्तान), अमनजोत कौर, हरलीन कौर दियोल और कोचिंग स्टाफ को सम्मानित किया। इन पंजाबी खिलाड़ियों को 11-11 लाख रुपये जबकि कोचिंग स्टाफ को 5 लाख रुपये की इनामी राशि दी गई। इसके साथ ही स्टेडियम में युवराज सिंह और हारमनप्रीत के नाम पर बने स्टैंड का उद्घघाटन किया। बतौर खेल प्रेमी यहनों खिड़ाड़ा एवं कोच साहिबान का सम्मान कर के बहोत गर्व महसूस कर रहा हूँ। इसी तरह मेहनत करके देश सहित पंजाब का नाम दुनियाँ भर में रोशन करते रहें। खूब तरक्की करें। आप सभी को एक बार फिर हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ。 Yesterday, at the newly built stadium in Mullanpur, the Punjabi players of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, Harmanpreet Kaur (Captain), Amanjot Kaur. Harleen Kaur Deol and the coaching staff were honoured for their historic ICC World Cup victory. Each of these Punjabi players were awarded ₹11 lakh, while the coaching staff received ₹5 lakh as a token of appreciation. The stadium also witnessed the inauguration of the stand named after Yuvraj Singh and Harmanpreet Kaur. As a sports enthusiast, it was a moment of immense pride to felicitate these athletes and the coaches. I extend my heartfelt best wishes to all of them.
