Jammu, RAJOURI: The historic Bhairav Yatra of Rajouri has been included in the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage of India, marking a significant milestone in preservation and promotion of the district's cultural and spiritual legacy. The proposal for inclusion of the centuries-old Yatra was conceptualised, documented and submitted by the District Administration Rajouri under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, with the objective of securing national recognition for the tradition. The proposal was pursued with the Department of Culture, Jammu & Kashmir and received guidance and support from Secretary Culture Department J&K Brij Mohan Sharma, whose coordination with institutions concerned facilitated its consideration at the national level. Following evaluation and recommendations of the Provisional Committee constituted for updating the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage of India, the proposal was approved for inclusion. The recognition acknowledges the cultural, spiritual and social significance of the Bhairav Yatra, its association with the faith and identity of the people of Rajouri and the efforts of generations of devotees and local communities in preserving the tradition. Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma described the development as a significant achievement, saying the inclusion of the Bhairav Yatra in the National Inventory is a tribute to generations of devotees and communities who have kept the tradition alive. "This recognition gives national visibility to an integral part of Rajouri's cultural identity. The District Administration remains committed to the systematic documentation, safeguarding and promotion of our invaluable cultural heritage," he said. The Deputy Commissioner expressed gratitude to Secretary Culture Department J&K Brij Mohan Sharma for his guidance, support and coordination throughout the process. He also appreciated the contributions of the Bhairav Yatra Committee, devotees, cultural practitioners, researchers, officials and other stakeholders associated with documenting and preserving the Yatra.0

कासगंज में वन विभाग की टीम पर पथराव: बीट प्रभारी घायल
Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh:कासगंज में वन विभाग की टीम पर पथराव, बीट प्रभारी आकाश कुमार गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए, जिन्हें जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। घटना के बाद वन विभाग और पुलिस प्रशासन में हड़कंप मच गया। दरअसल मामला जनपद कासगंज के गांव मुबारक पुर का है। वन विभाग को सूचना मिली कि टायर फैक्ट्री परिसर में अवैध रूप से पेड़ों की कटाई हो रही है। इसी सूचना पर नेदरई बीट प्रभारी आकाश कुमार अपनी टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। जांच के दौरान टीम ने लकड़ी से संबंधित मामले में एक ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली और एक ट्रक को जब्त कर लिया। आरोप है कि जब वन विभाग की टीम जब्त किए गए वाहनों को लेकर फैक्ट्री से बाहर निकल रही थी, तभी वहां मौजूद कुछ मजदूरों और अन्य लोगों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू कर दिया। उन्होंने फैक्ट्री का मुख्य गेट बंद कर टीम को रोकने का प्रयास किया और फिर पथराव कर दिए। पथराव में बीट प्रभारी आकाश कुमार घायल हो गए, जिसके बाद उन्होंने किसी तरह वहां से निकलकर अपनी जान बचाई। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही वन विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और पुलिस बल मौके पर पहुंच गया। घायल वन कर्मी को तत्काल जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया; पुलिस ने तीन लोगों को हिरासत में ले लिया है।0

Gurez Can't Afford Waste Crisis, DC Bandipora; Warns of Action Against Violators Anchor:-Stressing that environmental protection must go hand in hand with tourism, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Wednesday warned of strict action against those violating waste management norms in the ecologically sensitive Gurez Valley, saying camping sites and other tourist establishments could face closure if garbage continues to be dumped irresponsibly. Speaking at a one-day convention on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Chib said Bandipora generates nearly 43.7 tonnes of solid waste every day, while Gurez alone produces around 2.5 tonnes daily during the tourism season due to the sharp increase in visitors. She said the administration has identified several garbage hotspots in the valley and directed camping site owners, hoteliers and other tourism stakeholders to ensure scientific collection, segregation and disposal of waste. "The first responsibility to prevent pollution lies with local stakeholders. Tourism has brought livelihood opportunities, but we cannot compromise the environment. If waste continues to accumulate, strict action, including closure of tourist establishments, will be taken," she said. Explaining the objective of the convention, Chib said the programme focused on the concept of Extended Producer Responsibility, under which companies manufacturing or selling products that generate plastic waste—such as packaged food items, mineral water bottles and beverage containers—must also take responsibility for collecting and managing that waste. She said representatives from the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and several private companies participated in the workshop to strengthen cooperation on waste management. Chib acknowledged that while tourism in Gurez has grown rapidly over the past two years, many stakeholders still lack adequate awareness about scientific waste management. "We noticed both genuine challenges and some degree of indifference. We have tried to address both. People cannot afford to be casual because if we act now, we can protect Gurez's fragile ecosystem," she said. She added that the administration, in coordination with the Forest Department, expects the first phase of these awareness initiatives to be visible on the ground within the next week to ten days. On enforcement, Chib said surveillance will be strengthened to prevent waste dumping by both tourism operators and local residents. The firm, operating under the name Apex Biz Corp LLP, allegedly raised funds from the public. Investors were promised ₹4,000 per month as interest for every ₹1 lakh invested. They were also assured that their original investment would be returned after one year, convincing many people to invest. Over several years, the company allegedly collected hundreds of crores of rupees from the public using this scheme. The accused are alleged to have collected ₹165 crore from around 3,500 investors in and around Belagavi. The company's owners, Kashinath Wagmore and Ganesh Bandari, have been accused of cheating. The office has been locked, and the owners are reportedly unreachable by investors. Affected investors approached Belagavi Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan seeking action. The Deputy Commissioner has directed the City Police Commissioner to register a complaint and conduct an investigation.0

यमुनानगर-जगाधरी में करोड़ों खर्च के बावजूद वेंडिंग ज़ोन खाली, रेलियाँ सड़क पर जाम बना रही हैं
Yamuna Nagar, Haryana:एक बार फिर जी मिडिया की टीम सुनो सरकार कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत सड़को पर लोगों की समस्या जानने के लिए धरातल पर पहुंची जहां यमुनानगर जगाधरी की सड़कों पर अवैध रूप से लगने वाली रेडी-फहड़ी आम लोगों के लिए बड़ी परेशानी बन गई है। सड़क किनारे आधी सड़क घेरकर खड़ी की जाने वाली फल और सब्जी की रेड़ी के कारण रोज़ाना जाम बनती है और राहगीरों को भारी दिक़तों का सामना करना पड़ता है। हैरानी की बात यह है कि इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए करीब चार साल पहले नगर निगम ने लगभग 1 करोड़ 35 लाख रुपये की लागत से वेंडिंग ज़ोन बनाए थे, लेकिन आज तक उनका सही उपयोग नहीं हो सका और ये वेंडिंग जोन धूल फांक रहे हैं। यमुनानगर और जगाधरी में जगह-जगह सड़क किनारे लगने वाली रेड़ियों के कारण यातायात व्यवस्था प्रभावित हो रही है। कई रेड़ी संचालक आधा हिस्सा सड़क पर और आधा फुटपाथ पर लगाकर कारोबार करते हैं, जिससे वाहनों की आवाजाही बाधित होती है और अक्सर जाम लग जाता है। सरकार द्वारा शहर में रेड़ी-पटरी विक्रेताओं के लिए वेंडिंग ज़ोन विकसित किए गए थे ताकि उन्हें एक निर्धारित स्थान पर व्यवस्थित किया जा सके और सड़कों पर अतिक्रमण कम हो। लेकिन चार साल बीत जाने के बाद भी ये वेंडिंग ज़ोन खाली पड़े हैं और धूल फांक रहे हैं। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि यदि सभी रेड़ी-पटरी संचालकों को इन वेंडिंग ज़ोन में स्थानांतरित किया जाए तो लोगों को एक ही जगह फल और सब्जियां मिलेंगी, साथ ही शहर की यातायात व्यवस्था भी बेहतर होगी। स्थानीय नागरिक. वीरेन कुमार स्थानीय नागरिक. चिराग सिंगल, स्थानीय नागरिक सरकार ने करोड़ों रुपये खर्च करके मनोहर वेंडिंग ज़ोन बनाए हैं, लेकिन उनका कोई उपयोग नहीं हो रहा। नगर निगम को सड़क किनारे लगने वाली रेड़ियों को वहां शिफ्ट करना चाहिए ताकि जाम की समस्या खत्म हो और आम लोगों को राहत मिल सके। बड़ा सवाल यह है कि करोड़ों रुपये से बने मनोहर वेंडिंग ज़ोन आखिर कब आबाद होंगे और नगर निगम इस व्यवस्था को लागू करने के लिए ठोस कदम कब उठाएगा। जहां एक तरफ इन वेंडिंग जोन की टाइल्स गिरनी शुरू हो गई तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ सरकार के राजस्व को करोडो का नुकसान हुआ0

देवघर पासपोर्ट कार्यालय को बम धमकी, पुलिस ने सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी कर दी
Deoghar, Jharkhand:देवघर में प्रधान डाकघर में पासपोर्ट कार्यालय को बम से उड़ने की धमकी मिलने पर प्रधान डाकघर और सुरक्षा कर्मी अलर्ट मोड पर आ गए. डाकपाल रवि कुमार के अनुसार रिजिनल पासपोर्ट ऑफिस रांची से ईमेल आया कि राज्य के सभी पासपोर्ट कार्यालयों को बम से उड़ाने की धमकी दी गई है. रीजनल ऑफिस से देवघर प्रधान डाकघर को इसकी सूचना दी गई जिसे देवघर पुलिस और देवघर एसपी को दी गई. देवघर एसपी के द्वारा नगर थाना प्रभारी सहित पुलिसबल मौके पर पहुंचे और डाकघर में मौजूद कर्मी तथा ग्राहकों को समझाकर खाली कराया गया. इसके बाद झारखंड जगुआर की बम निरोधक टीम और श्वान टीम मौके पर पहुंची और सभी जगह छानबीन की जा रही है. थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि सूचना मिली कि पासपोर्ट ऑफ़िस को बम से उड़ने की धमकी मिली है, इसके आलोक में त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए मौजूद कर्मी और ग्राहकों को बाहर भेजा गया और फिर जांच शुरू कर दी गई. बम निरोध दस्ता और श्वान टीम के द्वारा की जा रही है.0
