कोर्ट आदेश के बावजूद थिरुप्परंकुंड्रम पहाड़ी पर दीप नहीं जला, क्षेत्र में तनाव

The Karthigai Deepam has not yet been lit on the Thirupparankundram hill pillar. Even after being ordered by a single judge, the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department has refused to proceed with the lighting. As a result, tension prevails in Thirupparankundram. Further, due to the failure to light the lamp as per the court order, a scuffle broke out between the police and Hindu organizations. Following this, BJP members and Hindu organizations, demanding that the lamp be lit on the Thirupparankundram hill, violated police restrictions and began protesting on the path leading up the hill. This has caused commotion in the area. In this situation, more than 20 members of Hindu organizations broke through police barricades, climbed the hill, and staged a dharna protest. This has led to heightened commotion and tension in the area. Under these tense circumstances, over 200 police personnel, led by Madurai City Police Commissioner Lokanathan, have been deployed for security. However, it is noteworthy that the Karthigai Deepam has still not been lit on the hilltop pillar of Thirupparankundram as per the court order.
