Rachakonda Commissioner Sudheer Babu, IPS, stated that elaborate security arrangements have been made for the MESSI GOAT TOUR – LIVE EVENT 2025 football match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal. With a seating capacity of 39,000, the venue will be secured by around 2,500 police personnel, including security, traffic, law & order units, TSSP/AR platoons, OCTOPUS teams, Mounted Police, and Fire Services. He said 450 CCTV cameras, a Joint Command & Control Room, bomb disposal teams, sniffer dogs, anti-sabotage checks, and an enhanced communication system have been put in place to ensure the safety of VIPs and spectators. Gate No. 1 is reserved only for players and VVIPs. Spectators will be allowed strictly as per their ticket categories. QR-code scanning, mobile checks, and strict entry verification will be enforced. The Commissioner reiterated that prohibited items such as bags, bottles, cameras, laptops, lighters, and outside food are not allowed inside the stadium. SHE Teams, anti-eve-teasing squads, and vendor-monitoring teams will be deployed. He advised viewers to use designated parking zones (mainly IILA parking), follow signage boards, and arrive early as gates will open three hours before the match. Emergency medical arrangements and crowd-management patrol teams have also been strengthened to ensure a smooth and incident-free event.
