Winter Wonders Unfold: YSS Celebrates Snow Festival at Ketsan The Directorate of Youth Services and Sports (YSS) successfully organised a vibrant Snow Festival at Ketsan, Bandipora, celebrating the spirit of winter sports and community participation. The event was held under the overall supervision and guidance of the Director General, Youth Services & Sports, Ms. Anuradha Gupta. The festival witnessed enthusiastic participation of around 250 participants, including youth and local residents, who actively took part in various sporting activities. Traditional and team-based events such as Rugby, Tug of War, and Kabaddi were conducted on snow, adding excitement and energy to the celebrations. All arrangements for the festival were closely monitored by the District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO), Bandipora, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Bhat, along with the Activity Incharge, Ms. Andleeb Manhas, ensuring smooth conduct and safety throughout the event. The active involvement of local residents added to the charm of the festival, turning it into a truly memorable occasion that promoted sports culture, unity, and winter tourism in the area. Youth Services and Sports Bandipora reaffirmed its commitment to organising such events in the future as well, with the aim of further promoting winter sports and youth engagement across the district.
