Jammu and Kashmir Justice and Development Front President, Shameem Ahmad Thokar, has extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Eid, wishing peace, prosperity, and happiness for all. In his Eid message, Thokar urged people to celebrate the festival with unity, brotherhood, and compassion, especially remembering the poor and needy during these blessed days. While reacting to the ongoing global situation, particularly the Iran war, he expressed deep concern and appealed for special prayers for peace and stability in the region. He urged people of Jammu and Kashmir to pray for the people affected by the conflict. Thokar also strongly condemned the issue of black marketing of essential commodities, especially ahead of Eid. He said such practices create unnecessary hardship for the common people. He appealed to the administration to take strict and immediate action against those involved in black marketing, ensuring that essential items are available to the public at fair prices.
