BJP senior leader Namti Haali on Wednesday strongly criticised the PDP and National Conference, accusing both parties of “creating a false and delusional narrative” among the people of Jammu & Kashmir for decades. He said these parties systematically disturbed the “innocent minds of youth,” leading to prolonged hartals, repeated shutdowns, and routine stone-pelting incidents that crippled daily life in the region. Haali asserted that ever since the BJP assumed responsibility for Jammu & Kashmir, the situation on the ground has changed dramatically, with violence and disruptions becoming “a part of history.” He emphasised that today’s youth are focused on developmental, progressive, and skill-oriented programmes, breaking away from the atmosphere of unrest. Highlighting improvements in public services, Haali said people are now receiving better healthcare facilities, enhanced governance, and a greater sense of stability. He stated that the BJP’s policies have encouraged confidence among local communities, enabling them to move forward without fear or political manipulation. Reaffirming the party’s stance, Haali said the BJP remains committed to safeguarding the welfare, dignity, and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir, and “this mission will continue with full resolve.”
