Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) National Spokesperson Sanjay Saraf launched a sharp attack on the Chief Minister, accusing him of neglecting fruit growers suffering losses due to floods, highway blockades, and other disruptions. He demanded immediate relief measures, including loan relaxation for farmers. Saraf also targeted PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, alleging double standards in her remarks on separatist leader Yasin Malik. “Mehbooba speaks one language in power and another when out of power,” he said, accusing her of political opportunism. Expressing hope from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming J&K visit, Saraf urged him to announce a comprehensive financial package for flood victims in urban and rural areas. He also appealed for the regularization of daily wagers nearing retirement and the creation of government posts, particularly in police and other departments, to address youth unemployment. On the occasion, several Congress and other party leaders joined LJP, welcomed by Saraf.
