Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today Responding to reports of alleged harassment of Jammu and Kashmir students at CT University in Punjab, particularly regarding the non-provision of Sehri and Iftari during Ramadan, Omar Abdullah said he would raise the matter with the Punjab Chief Minister. He stated that the Punjab government has always extended support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and expressed confidence that the issue would be addressed appropriately. On the Government of India’s advisory for Indian students in Iran, the Chief Minister urged students to strictly follow the official guidelines. He advised them not to ignore government advisories, stressing that adherence is essential to avoid any hardship for themselves and their families.
