Anchor:-The Indian Army on Saturday celebrated International Women’s Day by felicitating women achievers from different parts of Bandipora district for their contributions in various fields. The event, held in International Delhi Public School Bandipora, brought together students, local residents, and several women who have excelled in education, social service, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. The programme aimed to recognise the achievements of women in the district and encourage greater participation of women in social and professional spheres. During the event, several women achievers were honoured for their dedication and work that has positively impacted society. Speakers at the programme highlighted the importance of empowering women and providing them with opportunities to contribute to community development. Officials from the Indian Army said that celebrating women’s achievements is essential to inspire the younger generation and to acknowledge the vital role women play in building stronger communities. Participants appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude to the organisers for recognising the efforts of women from the district. “This programme means a lot to us.
