A one-day seminar titled “Challenges and Prospects of the Kashmiri Language in the Contemporary Era” was held at Government Degree College Handwara. The event was jointly organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and Jooaye Adab Kajnag Handwara. Writers and poets from across the district participated in the seminar and shared their views on the preservation and promotion of the Kashmiri language. On the occasion, a book authored by Dr Shah Faisal on noted Kashmiri writer and international scholar Dr Reyaz Towheedi, along with another book written by Midhat Majeed, was formally released.
