“Large Haul of Wapons Seized; Security Forces Foil Potential Terror Plot , Recover Assault Rifles (M4),” Based on specific input a joint operation was launched by Handwara Police & Naugam brigade of Indian Army in the Neeriyan Forest area along the LoC in the Nowgam sector. During the operation, the joint team busted a major hideout which led to the recovery of following arms and ammunition; 1. Two M-series rifles with four magazines, 2. Two Chinese pistols with three magazines 3. Two hand grenades. 4. Some live rounds In this regard, FIR No. 39/2025 has been registered at Police Station Qalamabad, and further investigation has been set into motion.
