Ganderbal, Sept 26: BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur on Friday said that the ongoing tension in Ladakh is part of a conspiracy to destabilize the region. Thakur alleged that foreign powers and agencies are involved in fuelling the unrest, while stressing that the people of Ladakh are “peace-loving.” He further claimed that activist Sonam Wangchuk has eight out of nine bank accounts under question, with crores of rupees reportedly transferred from foreign countries. “Where the money came from and where it went is being investigated by the agencies,” Thakur said. The BJP spokesperson also accused the Congress party of creating turmoil in Ladakh.
