Festive Cheer and Care: Wular Battalion Organises Eid Celebration for Orphan Children in Bandipora Bandipora, March 22:-The Indian Army’s Wular Battalion organised a heartwarming Eid-ul-Fitr celebration with orphan children, spreading joy, hope, and a sense of belonging on this auspicious occasion. The event aimed at uplifting young minds and making the festival memorable for them. As part of the programme, a motivational movie was screened to inspire the children and encourage them to dream big and work towards a brighter future. This was followed by a picnic organised in collaboration with Rifle Women, where the children enjoyed games, interaction, and a lively environment filled with warmth and care. A special lunch was arranged for all attendees, fostering a feeling of togetherness and celebration. On the culmination of the event, tokens of love were distributed among the children as a gesture of affection and encouragement. A total of 40 orphan children participated in the event, along with 15 prominent local personalities who graced the occasion and motivated the children through their presence and interaction. The initiative by Wular Battalion reflects its continued commitment towards community welfare, especially focusing on the upliftment and empowerment of underprivileged children, ensuring that no one feels left behind during festive celebrations.
