अमरोहा:- (धनौरा) कड़ाके की ठंड के मौसम में पशुओं को होने वाली बीमारियों से बचाव एवं किसानों को वैज्ञानिक जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय, मेरठ तथा पशुपालन विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में इफको टोकियो जनरल इंश्योरेंस लिमिटेड द्वारा प्रायोजित एम्बुलेंस परियोजना के अंतर्गत जनपद अमरोहा के ग्राम दारानगर में निःशुल्क पशु स्वास्थ्य शिविर एवं कृषि गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। मार्गदर्शन कृषि विवि के कुलपति डॉ. के. के. सिंह ने किया। शिविर का उद्घाटन क्षेत्रीय विधायक राजीव तरारा ने गौ-पूजन कर किया। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार किसानों एवं पशुपालकों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है और इसी दिशा में पशुपालन, कृषि तथा तकनीक आधारित सेवाओं को गाँव-गाँव तक पहुँचाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कृषि विश्वविद्यालय, मेरठ की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा शोध, प्रशिक्षण एवं विस्तार गतिविधियों के माध्यम से किसानों को आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक जानकारी से जोड़ने का सराहनीय कार्य किया जा रहा है। 

मुख्य पशु चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ. आभा दत्त ने बताया कि ठंड, कोहरा एवं नमी के कारण पशुओं में निमोनिया, दुग्ध ज्वर, परजीवी जनित रोग तथा दुग्ध उत्पादन में गिरावट की समस्या बढ़ जाती है। फसलों में शीतकालीन रोगों एवं उनके प्रबंधन पर जानकारी देते हुए प्रोफेसर रमेश सिंह ने बताया कि इस मौसम में गेहूं, सरसों एवं आलू जैसी रबी फसलों में झुलसा, माहू एवं फफूंद जनित रोगों की संभावना रहती है। समय पर सिंचाई, संतुलित उर्वरक प्रयोग तथा अनुशंसित दवाओं के छिड़काव से फसल उत्पादन में वृद्धि की जा सकती है। गोष्ठी के दौरान परियोजना प्रभारी डॉ. अमित वर्मा, डॉ. प्रेम सागर मौर्य, डॉ. अरबिंद सिंह, डॉ. अजीत कुमार सिंह, डा अखिल पटेल, डॉ. दीपाक्षी एवं डॉ. भागेश सिंह सहित विशेषज्ञों की टीम ने 230 से अधिक पशुओं का अल्ट्रासाउंड मशीन, माइक्रोस्कोपी जैसी अत्याधुनिक तकनीकों से स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण किया तथा निशुल्क दवाओं का वितरण किया। शिविर के सफल आयोजन में पशु चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ. भागेश सिंह का विशेष सहयोग रहा।
