डीवीसी बोकारो थर्मल पावर प्लांट 12 दिन से बंद, नुकसान 70 करोड़ से अधिक

Bokaro Thermal Power Plant, DV C, production has been stopped for 12 days. The plant is incurring a daily loss of 5.71 crore rupees due to the stoppage. So far, the loss stands at around 70 crore rupees. Senior General Manager Sushil Kumar Arjaria informed that the stoppage in SPOND (S Pond) due to agitation by the CHS (Container Haulage) Transport Association had caused the SPOND to be filled for four months from July 15, after which the process to empty SPOND has begun and transporters have been directed to empty it quickly. He added that there has been a technical fault in the plant’s turbine which is being repaired by BHEL. If all goes well, the plant may be operational by night. It is also noted that since November 12, DV C’s Bokaro Thermal Plant has been non-operational. Because of the plant shutdown, DV C is incurring losses by having to purchase electricity for its consumers in Jharkhand, Punjab, Delhi and other states. Additionally, there is a plan to transport around 1,000 tonnes daily of dried SPOND through rail rack from Bokaro Thermal Plant. The plant has a capacity of 500 MW.
