Begumpur पुलिस को हत्या की सूचना मिली; शव बाथरूम में मिला

REGARDING A MURDER PCR CALL RECEIVED AT PS BEGUMPUR. Brief Facts: It is submitted that a PCR call was received at PS Begumpur today at 03:30 p.m. regarding “caller ke father ka murder ho gaya hai.” On receipt of the information, staff of local police reached the spot and found that one male dead body was lying in the bathroom of the said flat, in a pool of blood. The PCR caller was identified as Sh. Ankur Rathi, son of the deceased, resident Pocket-16, Sector-24, Rohini. He identified the deceased as his father, Sh. Suresh Kumar Rathi, aged 59 years, working in Delhi Jal Board. Crime Team and FSL Team were called for inspection and necessary action. The scene of crime is situated on the first floor of the said building. The deceased used to visit the said flat occasionally, while his permanent residence was at Pocket-16, Sector-24, Rohini. The PCR caller informed that his father had not come home for the past two days and was not responding to phone calls. Therefore, he came to the said flat, which was found centrally locked. He brought the keys from his residence and upon opening the door, found his father lying dead inside. On inspection, a stab injury on the right side of the neck was observed on the body of the deceased. The body has been shifted to SGM Hospital for post-mortem examination. The deceased, Sh. Suresh Kumar Rathi, aged 59 years, was married to Smt. Anita Rathi, aged 55 years, a homemaker. A case vide FIR no. 629/25 u/s 103(1) BNS has been registered at PS Begumpur and further investigation is being carried out.
