बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर स्थित स्पेशल ब्रांच में हवलदार राजवंशी गिरी के सेवानिवृत्ति पर पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मियों ने समारोह आयोजित कर विदाई दिया। हमेशा जिंदादिल रहने वाले हवलदार राजवंशी गिरी को विदाई देते हुए DSP जितेंद्र नारायण सिंह ने कहा की हवलदार राजवंशी गिरी जिंदा दिली के लिए जाने जाते हैं। वहीं विशेष शाखा के पदाधिकारी इंस्पेक्टर दिलीप कुमार ने हवलदार राजवंशी गिरी के क्रिया कलाप को याद करते हुए कहे की हमेशा अपने कार्य के प्रति चौकन्ना एवं ततपर रहने के साथ लोगों को भी हमेशा खुश करते रहते थे।

:The 10-day workshop on “Computer-Aided Design for Kashmiri Crafts,” organised by the Design Innovation Centre , Central University of Kashmir for the artisans, culminated at the Tulmulla Campus. Addressing the valedictory function, Registrar, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir, expressed satisfaction at the progress demonstrated by participants within a short span of time. “Even if one learns something in a single day, it is meaningful. Seeing your presentations today is heartening—it shows that learning has indeed taken place,” he observed. He proposed creation of a “digital diary” to track the progress of trainees after the workshop, ensuring sustained engagement and follow-up support. “We must see what our trainees do after they leave. Do they need additional support? Can we guide them further? Continuous mentoring is the need of the hour,” he said. CUKashmir Registrar lauded the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof. A. Ravinder Nath and said, “such impactful initiatives are a direct reflection of the Vice Chancellor’s commitment to empowering youth and artisans through meaningful academic outreach.” Dr. Mir emphasised that while financial stability is important, the pursuit of knowledge and humility must guide one’s journey. “Search for comforts in life, not luxuries. As long as we chase only luxuries, we lose balance,” he advised. Addressing the participants, Director, DIC, Prof. Shahid Rasool, described the workshop as “just the beginning” of a long-term engagement between the University and the artisan community.

:Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference leader Abdul Gani Vakil expressed serious concern over the alarming situation arising from the ongoing protests by nearly 70,000 daily wage workers across various regions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that Jammu and Kashmir is presently witnessing a grave and deeply concerning situation, as these hardworking individuals—who form the backbone of essential public services—have taken to the streets against the prolonged neglect of their genuine and long-pending demands. For years, daily wage workers have rendered dedicated services in crucial departments such as the Power Development Department, Jal Shakti Department, Floriculture Department, Horticulture Department, and Irrigation and Flood Control Department. These departments rely heavily on their services to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply, safe drinking water, irrigation facilities, and maintenance of public infrastructure. Despite their long and sincere service, these workers continue to live under constant uncertainty without job security, regularization, or adequate financial benefits. The issue of pending wages has further pushed thousands of families into financial distress. Their patience, maintained over many years, has now given way to widespread protests reflecting frustration and despair. Vakil strongly urged the Government to take immediate and concrete steps towards: Regularization of long-serving daily wage employees Immediate release of all pending wages Framing of a transparent and time-bound regularization policy Ensuring dignity, security, and social protection for these workers He emphasized that continued inaction on such a critical humanitarian and administrative issue is unacceptable. These workers are not merely employees; they are the pillars sustaining essential services across Jammu and Kashmir. Ignoring their legitimate demands will only deepen unrest and disrupt public services. He further called upon the Government to initiate meaningful dialogue at the earliest and resolve the matter with seriousness and compassion, stating that the future of thousands of families depends upon a just and fair decision.

Kulgam, :اینکر ۔۔۔وندے بھارت ریل چالو کرنے سے جموں کشمیر کے لوگوں کو ایک بڑی راحت ملی ہے اور جسکی وجہ سے کشمیر کے لوگوں کو دلی جانے میں اسانی ہوئی ہے اور وندے بھارت ٹرین میں خوش اسلوبی کے ساتھ سفر کرتے ہیں لیکن جنوبی کشمیر کے لاکھوں لوگوں کو وندے بھارت ریل کا سٹیشن نہ ہونے سے مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے کیونکہ جنوبی کشمیر بالخصوص اننت ناگ کولگام اور شوپیان کے لوگوں کو وندے بھارت ٹرین میں سفر کرنے کے لئے یا تو سرینگر جانا پڑتا ہے یا تو بانی ہال جانا پڑتا ہے جسکی وجہ سے جنوبی کشمیر کے اکثر لوگ وندے بھارت ٹرین میں سفر نہی کرپاتے ہیں اب جنوبی کشمیر کے لوگوں کی مرکزی سرکار اور ریل اتھارٹی اف انڈیا کے اعلی افسران سے اپیل کرتے ہیں کہ اننت ناگ میں وندے بھارت ٹرین سٹیشن کھول دیا جائے ۔۔。

Badgam, :Vivek Bali Appeals to Government for Immediate Release of Pending Wages; Demands Clear Regulations and Fixed Monthly Salaries for Casual Labourers* State President of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), Vivek Bali has strongly appealed to the government to immediately release the pending wages of casual labourers who have been working tirelessly despite facing serious financial hardships. In a statement issued today, Vivek Bali said that it is highly unfortunate that workers who contribute daily to public services are left waiting for their rightful earnings. “These casual labourers have been serving continuously, yet their wages remain unpaid. This is injustice. I urge the government to clear all pending dues without any further delay,” he said. Bali further demanded that the government frame clear and transparent regulations regarding the service conditions of casual labourers to prevent such situations in the future. He also called for fixing a proper monthly wage structure so that workers receive their salaries regularly and do not have to depend on uncertain payments. “If the government fails to resolve the issue within two days, SBSP will fully join their protest and intensify the agitation,” he warned.
