On February 9, a robbery took place in Delhi's Shastri Park and one of the main accused was absconding. Today, at midnight, we received information that the accused is Ajay alias Kalia, a resident of Usmanpur, and several cases are pending against him in UP and Delhi since 2013. The scooter on which the accused was riding was also stolen from Malviya Nagar. One pistol and some bullets have been recovered from the accused. During the encounter, the accused fired four shots which were an attempt to shoot Inspector Rohit, but Inspector Rohit narrowly escaped because he was wearing a bullet proof jacket. No cash has been recovered from the accused yet. The investigation is ongoing.
