The State BJP chief fumes over CM Revanth Reddy’s remarks Hyderabad, Nov 5 :: Coming down heavily on Chief Miniser Revanth Reddy’s remarks to attract muslims votes, the State BJP President N Ramchander Rao today alleged that the comments made by CM Revanth Reddy has exposed the true face of the Congress party's divisive and appeasement politics. Rao said the CM has claimed that muslims have respect and their existence is continuing because of Congress and without Congress the muslims have no support. These comments clearly once again proved that the Congress party only believes in religion-based vote bank politics. The remarks once again exposed the true face of the Congress party's divisive and appeasement politics. Furthermore and it also clearly indicated a dangerous attempt to incite social differences for political gain. The BJP chief alleged that the Congress party is cheating majority community and it wanted to have support of 20 per cent muslims population by neglecting the sentiments of 80 per cent of Hindus. Is it a secularism¸ he asked and said the people will teach a fitting lesson to this arrogance and appeasement politics in the Jubilee Hills by-election. Rao posed a question and dared Revanth Reddy “ If you and your party only want the votes of Muslims and do not need the votes of Hindus, you must have the courage to say so publicly. The 80 per cent Hindu population in Telangana is observing your comments, he roar. To provide true justice to the Muslim community, steps must be taken towards education, employment, and economic opportunities, he said and accused Congress party of viewed muslims as a mere vote bank since beinning. Condemning the irresponsible remarks of the CM who threatened voters to cancel ration cards, fine rice distribution, and free bus benefits if people do not vote for Congress in the Jubilee Hills by-election were an insult to democracy and an attempt to hurt the people's freedom. Rao said the BJP would stand with the people and the party is emerging as a force that unites the entire nation and society. He expressed confidence that the BJP would be victorious in the Jubilee Hills by-elections.
