Land for Jobs scam: The Special Court (PMLA) issued process (summons) on 20.09.2025 to additional accused in 2nd Supplementary Prosecution Complaint filed by ED, in money laundering case 1. The Special Court (PMLA), Rouse Avenue District Court, New Delhi has issued process on 20.09.2025 in 2nd Supplementary Prosecution Complaint filed by ED on 28.03.2025 in Land for Jobs Scam. 2. ⁠The supplementary complaint filed by ED has highlighted the offence of money laundering in acquisition of additional 6 land parcels by the former Railway Minister Sh. Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members.These 6 land parcels situated at Gopalganj District, Bihar anr were transferred in name of Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav both son of Sh. Lalu Prasad Yadav in lieu of providing employment in Railways to the sellers or their family members. 3. The PMLA investigation in the case, were initiated on the basis of CBI FIR related to Land for Job Scam in Indian Railways alleging that Lalu Prasad Yadav. the then Railway Minister, indulged in corruption for appointment of Group D substitutes in Indian Railways during the period 2004- 2009. The candidates or their family members were told to transfer land as bribe in return for jobs in Indian Railways as per FIR. These land parcels were directly/indirectly, registered in name of family members of Lalu Prasad Yadav. The CBI has also filed 3 charge sheets and Supplementary Chargesheets in the matter. 4. ED has already filed its Prosecution complaint in the matter on 08-01-2024 under PMLA, 2002 against Amit Katyal and family members of Lalu Prasad Yadav viz. Rabri Devi, Misha Bharti, Hema Yadav and their associated companies viz. M/s A K Infosystems Private Limited and M/s A B Exports Private Limited. Further, a supplementary prosecution complaint against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and others, was also filed before Special Court on 06.08.2024. 5. ⁠The prosecution sanction against Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Minister of Railways. as mandated under section 197(1) of Cr. PC (Section 218 of BNSS, 2023) has been accorded by the President on 02.05. 2025 in respect of Prosecution Complaint dated 08.01.2024 and 06.08.2024 which was filed before the trial court on 23.05.2025. Further, Prosecution Sanction in respect of 2nd Supplementary Prosecution Complaint dated 28.03.2025 was accorded vide order dated 18.08.2025 and the same was filed by ED before trial court on 25.08.2025 in the said money laundering case of Land for Job in Railways.
