Delhi Govt Constitutes High-Level Inquiry Committee on St. Columba’s School Incident The Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, has set up a High-Level Inquiry Committee to investigate the unfortunate incident that occurred on 18 November 2025, leading to the tragic death of a Class X student at St. Columba’s School, Ashok Place, Gole Market. The committee—comprising Joint Director Harshit Jain (Chairman), DDE Anil Kumar, DDE Poonam Yadav, Principal Kapil Kumar Gupta, and Principal Sarita Devi—has been directed to conduct a thorough, objective and time-bound inquiry. The panel will submit a comprehensive report within 3 days, covering factual findings, observations, conclusions, and specific recommendations. The order was issued by Veditha Reddy, Director of Education, on 20 November 2025.
